The driver of a Jeffrey's Catering van drove through a crosswalk at 2nd and F Street NE in DC. She narrowly avoided striking the stroller with my children in it, we had to run out of the way. I could see that she was not looking while driving through the intersection while I tried to get her attention as she accelerated towards us. She pulled over and admitted to being on her cell phone, that she was "expecting a call." This driver should not be driving a commercial van and this company should not employ drivers that use their cell phones while driving.

James as well as some of the ladies, are very knowledgeable about their work! I hope the work ethics they have rub off on the ones that don't have it.

I wish their drivers would slow down, and stop cutting through the residential neighborhood to save a few seconds. For a company that serves kids, you think they would be a little more concerned with the safety of kids in their own back yard.A stop sign means the driver should come to a complete stop and look to see if people are walking across the street before making a turn. Vermont is a residential side street, not intended for commercial traffic.
