I'm from the Bronx, this pizza is the closest to new york style that ive found down here.

If you want a real pizza that is like NYC pizza. This is definitely the spot. If im nearby im definitely stopping no hesitation the garlic knots are fire. The square pizza is fire. We need Dave to come rate this place for real.

Absolutely love this location for a plain cheese slice. I was born and raised in Queens New York and find it very difficult to find a good plain cheese slice in the DMV area. This spot is legit! They're marinara sauce is very good also. The rest of the specialty slices are not traditional American Italian pizza that you would find in New York City but their plain cheese slice is the best in the dmv. It also helps that the staff has exceptional customer service. They are so attentive.

My wife and I have lived in the area for over 8 years and this is the best pizza in the Springfield area.

Since the pandemic it seems like you can't find a good place for by-the-slice pizza but after finding Johnny's I'm glad to say I'm wrong.

I got a chicken a vodka slice and it was heaven. I don't know what oven magic they use: the crust was is strong enough to basically hold up a pasta serving, yet still be thin and crunchy.

Usually pizza places have vegetarian options that feel like after thoughts but after finding Johnny's I'm glad to say I'm wrong!

My wife got a slice of the vegetarian and the romano and both were topped with some of the freshest, biggest veggies that were perfectly roasted on the magic crust.

Definitely going back and I'll make sure I bring cash because you can get 5% off if you pay in cash.

As someone born and raised in Jersey/New York, I take my pizza seriously—and let me tell you, Johnny’s New York Style Pizzeria is hands down the BEST pizza I’ve had in the DMV since leaving home. The crust, the sauce, the cheese… everything is authentic and absolutely perfect.

As an influencer who reviews food around the world, I’ve tried countless spots, but this one easily tops my list outside of New York. It genuinely feels like a slice of home every time I come here.

Also, huge shoutout to Alexis for going above and beyond during our visit. She made my girlfriend’s and my experience even better with her amazing service—definitely ask for her when you go!

Good selection of pizzas pre cooked. I went for lunch spent $14 for 2 big pieces of pizza and a drink. It was also nice to have parmesan cheese red pepper and garlic at the table already so you don't have to ask for it they reheat the pizza in the oven and brought it to you good fast service even when busy. Definitely good for lunch. There's some other items that are really good price that you can have for lunch the place is worth a try you won't be disappointed
