Johnny's New York Style Pizzeria & Restaurant

Ordered a large Margherita pizza. This was a sauceless cheese pizza topped with chopped basil, mozz, and tomato slices. Where is the sauce? Worst margherita pizza I’ve ever had. Did I mention it was a grease puddle? I would recommend their regular cheese with any normal toppings, those slices were pretty good the first time I came here. I wouldn’t get the Papa Joe’s Sicilian pie, the crust was way too thick.
Everything was ordered to-go, but the service and atmosphere were fine for the short time spent there.

The food was delicious I got a Greek chicken wrap and my husband and kids got a ready-made slice. They are very good. Really downside was eating inside the restaurant with a party of 4 was a bit difficult. We went for lunch and the sun was being down on us, it so hot inside. My suggestion would be to order ahead and take it to go otherwise this place has great pizza.

I got a Sicilian pepperoni and the white pizza. Both were incredible and I cannot wait to try everything else they have.

Pizza is great but one specific employee makes me dread coming in.

He is always rude and pretends not to see you at the counter but will take the order of the next person who walks in. Not sure his name but he is short with an accent. I will not be returning. Today I have had enough.

Good new york style pizza

The host, Saba, was completely rude and nasty to me for no reason; I came in to pick up an order I had placed over the phone.I stood in line patiently, she made direct eye contact with me but didn’t attend to me. She gladly assisted the person next to me with a smile. When she was done helping the other customer, she again looked me in the eye and walked away, she asked her co-worker next to her to help me instead, but he said no because he was leaving . I don't know what her problem was if she was having a bad day but i was not the cause of it, she was just nasty to me from the beginning

At its best, Johnny's used to be by far the best in the area. But after about 5 times recently where the pizza is severely undercooked and having someone get an upset stomach multiple times, enough is enough. We've told them about this issue but still the dough is raw in the middle about 50% of the time. Not acceptable.

Also, we've been told we're out of their delivery radius despite living 7 minutes away, which is 0.7 miles outside their radius. Even when my wife told them we have a 2-week old newborn they basically said they didn't care.

So between raw dough and not willing to bend even slightly for loyal customers, I'm sad to say goodbye to what used to be our favorite pizza shop in the area.

Consistently delicious pizza. It's hard to find good NY Style pizza in the DMV Johnny's does it justice.

Vegetarian options: It's pizza, unless you're vegan or get meat toppings it's already vegetarian.

Parking: Found in a commercial center, so there are a ton of parking spaces.

Kid-friendliness: It's a pizza place, seems bad for business if you don't cater to kids.

The pizza was burnt! Make sure you check it entirely before you go if you're picking it up. I live about 40 minutes away and I was not going back to get the pizza re-done. I called and Danny the manager said I can get 50% off next time, but we will see if they actually honor it because it's word of mouth. The previous time we ate inside at the store and the pizza was amazing. It's disappointing seeing such a good place go downhill. Hopefully it was just a one time mistake.

Pizza slices are best in town. Recommend Buffalo chicken and the chicken vodka sauce slices. Bring cash for slight discount

I gave this place 3 stars because the first time I went here was sooo good but this time was just stale.. I walked out because all of the pizza that was ready looked like it was sitting out for hours. The pepperoni pizza that was out looked like it was made at 9am and needed to go in the trash…I asked them if they had any fresh pizza coming out and they said only what’s on the counter is available…I drove to this area specifically for Johnnys ready pizza I have a few very hungry movers at my house and was hoping to get like 2 large pizzas worth of all-ready slices but ended up annoyed and unfortunately ended up walking next door to Pizza Hut to get a fresh pizza from them. I will maybe try again in the future but if the pizza looks the same as it did today it’s safe to say I will not.

Lunch spaghetti and meatballs with garlic knots. Oh man...it's awesome and they give you plenty.

Good pizza. Love that they sell it by the slice.
