I love this place, but the last couple of deliveries have been poor. My last two deliveries were left in the rain on my doorstep. No knock, no doorbell. With tax, delivery, and tip, this is a $41 pizza. Should not be left on a step like trash.

I'm from Brooklyn and hold NY Pizza to high standards. Johnny's is hands-down, the best place to get pizza in Virginia. I tell everyone I know about it.It's not just that the pizza is amazing, has options by the slice, and excellent pizza topping combinations.You can get pizza by the slice, they have many non-pizza options, and you can dine there. My personal favorite nobody in Virginia does as well as they do is the Chicken a la vodka pizza!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian optionsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid-friendly location
All the pizza around here seems to have a fluffy, doughy crust and this is the closest we’ve found to NY-style pizza. Thinner, crunchy (without cutting your mouth) and ingredients seem pretty decent. Definitely making this our go-to spot.

My kids and I came in for a Friday night dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. The kids loved their pizza, and the salad with ordered was fresh and delicious! The kids had slices of pepperoni and cheese pizza. We ordered fries as an appetizer and they were perfectly crisp. And I ordered a Gyro salad that was huge. It was a great neighborhood place! We will be back for sure.

We travel for good pizza! Hate when pizza comes to the door cold. Dined in after fighting through traffic. Ordered a margarita and garlic nots. We've been customers for over 20 years. In the past the service was questionable pizza and knots were worth it though. Today the knots were cold and hard so we had them reheated. Then the pizza came. . . . It was a margarita with onions Olives pepperoni. It tasted like the warmed up cold pizza and put a bunch of topping on top to cover. Every aspect was cold. My husband never complains about the temp but the onions were chunky and raw. And then covered in basil. The "owner" said no one complains about their food. I wanted to laugh but knew at that point he was in denial. We didn't want a refund and he offered to remake it but that wasn't the point and we were not going to waste it. We brought it home and took off the raw onions and basil salad on top and reheated. Not great or what we wanted but the young man who served us was very attentive.

Johnny's always has the best Pizza in the Alexandria area.
This is a pizza place. They aren't an Italian place. I recommend only ordering pizza, since it is what they specialize in. If you make this choice, you will not regret it one bit. Amazing pizza. Expert technique. Always fresh and hot. Never had a bad pizza and I've gone there for lunches between work for almost a year. Also great tiramisu.Because this is a typical pizza joint, like one found in NYC, it is not spotless or organized. But that is what makes this place so cute.

The food is awesome here. I usually get pizza because it's so damn good but have tried almost everything! The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when busy. Which is rare. The best cozy pizza spot in town!

The. Best. New York Style pizza in Northern Virginia. True thin crust, crispy, foldable, with incredible taste. Thought I could only get this good pizza in Manhattan. Boy was I wrong! Phenomenal!

I feel like the pesto pasta at this place is a best kept secret - it’s literally the most amazing thing ever. Get the chicken with penne or the spinach ravioli and you’ll know what I mean. The pizza is also very tasty and with lots of variety. One of our favorite places in the area, for sure.
