Had the cow heart (anticucho) ❤️ and it was very salty. My wife had the chicken chicharrones, and they were hard and warm. Looks like they re heated.

Quality and service has gone to the ground. Been coming to this place since i was 16. So has my family. Use to love them, would eat at this place weekly if not 2-3 times a weak. But wow no wonder its always empty now. There cheap AF! and the food is over priced. They messed up my order and had the audacity TO NOT REPLACE MY ORDER i spent $60 just to come home to uncooked food. I go back tell them my complaints and they have the audacity to open the container, and recook the same MEAT. Didnt even want to replace it. Went home with cold rice, cold fries, unsatisfying food and for someone that has been coming here for YEARS me and my family. I felt like i was spit in the face. Cant believe how low they’ve gone. Dont waste your time go to huascaran in ALEXANDRIA.

Food is always delicious, but I’ve been ripped off plenty of times. Today was just enough for me to leave this review. I asked for a large fry ( the size of a small take out container, and they charged me $10!!!! Not the first time something like this has happened and it shows why the place is usually empty. Food is too good not to come back though.. so yea.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, and lately the quality of the food is not the same.I have ordered a whole chicken for dinner, and my order was canceled without me knowing. My husband made it to the restaurant and the answer from the owner of the restaurant was not appropriate. She stated there was no more charcoal chicken there for the order was cancelled. My husband decided to order the lomo saltado which was not the best option either. The food was dry and there was just a few pieces of the steak. The price does not match the portion of the food. This is not the first time my order is messed up and the way the people at the restaurant just made it seem it is the client’s fault.

Many times I visited the restaurant and I was always satisfied with the mixed breakfast. After a while I returned and everything was different, the dry tamale, less quantity, the blood sausage extremely salty and I also had a hair in the salad.

I have been going here for years and the quality is consistently good. The best ceviche de pescado I have ever had is from Justa’s. The other menu items like lomo and chicken are also really good. Family owned restaurant too, give them a try.

Great Peruvian food, they have a wide variety of Peruvian plates, so far all I order has been delicious and their serving size is very generous.

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT TAKE SOMEONE TO TRY OUT PERUVIAN FOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME TO THIS PLACE. FOOD IS FAR FROM AUTHENTIC PERUVIAN FOOD.QUICK UPDATE I FORGOT TO MENTION AND ADDING IT AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW: When I mentioned to the waitress that the main reason why I stopped by was because I used to eat there a few years ago and blah blah blah - she responded and I quote - ''It might be because the old cook was Peruvian, she used to work here for years but she quit, the guy that is working as a cook now is from (I forgot the country she mentioned)''.In all fairness, this used to be a pretty good Peruvian restaurant. I lived in the Alexandria area about 7-8 years ago, matter of fact I lived 5 minutes from this location (they have another location in Woodbridge). I was driving by the area this past Sunday and decided to stop by to have some lomo saltado (which from what I recall I liked it a lot). But let me tell you - this visit was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT, I ordered ''papa rellena" as an appetizer and you could just tell it wasn't fresh, it was definitely from previous days, the texture was DISGUSTING, they only heat it up a couple of minutes as the inside was still a bit cold, we ate it anyway 1) We were starving and did not really want to wait until they heat it up again and also 2) did not really want to complain to the waitress as she looked a bit busy, I just wanted to get over it and get to my favorite dish of all time, lomo saltado.WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! THAT LOMO SALTADO DID NOT HAVE NO REAL FLAVOR, DID NOT TASTE A BIT LIKE A LOMO SALTADO. I also ordered it with ''tacu tacu'' (mixed rice and beans fried) and it also DID NOT HAVE ANY FLAVOR!!! Like does the cook know what SALT is? DOES HE EVEN USE SOME OF THE PERUVIAN CONDIMENTS THAT ARE NEEDED TO MAKE A GOOD LOMO SALTADO?It was Sunday and apparently the owner was not in the restaurant that day so the server had to call her to explain the situation as I obviously after tasting a bit of the lomo saltado and tacu tacu and after the disappointment of the papa rellena as well, I decided not to pay the bill, just because it claims to be a Peruvian restaurant when IT IS CLEARLY NOT. She ended up charging me only the papa rellena just because I have already ate it (fair enough but still).DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE TRYING TO ENJOY AUTHENTIC PERUVIAN FOOD!!

They gave me rotten sauce with my order tonight. Some of the little plastic containers were warped the sauce was so rotten. By the time I noticed I had already eaten some of the yellow sauce. Hopefully it wasnt on the verge of spoiling. The prices are all quite a bit higher than advertised. And they dont speak any English here.
