The vibe is hole in the wall but the prices are not. $12.50 for a small sandwich is nuts. Don't get me wrong it was a good sandwich but no sides or drink and small portions? Naw, that ain't right

I got the Turkey Special on Rye and it was just… okay? Reading the other reviews makes me wish I had checked them out for recommendations before placing my order, but I had high hopes based on the review average and pricing and was just a bit disappointed.
The shop itself was quite dull in atmosphere, and while I don’t expect every staff member to act like they work for disney, I did feel like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. I don’t know; I’ve lived in lots of places with local delis, and this one just didn’t hit the mark. I’d be willing to come back and try a more highly-recommended choice though!

Basic old/style café, with excellent food! Had a delicious southwestern burrito! Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful! I arrived too late for breakfast, but I’ve heard it’s really great! In our rapidly homogenizing world (just look up and down King St), we need to support and preserve local establishments like this!
