Not impressed with the food or service. To start off, we ordered all the happy hour food, which was good, and also ordered a drink 👎🏾🥴 The main course dishes need some work, we did not enjoy any of them, which is disappointing. Service was veeery slow.
We had a nice experience. We came before our reserved time, but they were nice to accommodate us. Very chilled vibes, relaxed modern Indian dine. They food hit the spot, very delicious and comforting. I fell in love with Naan. One of the best naan I ever had. The drinks were top notch as well. My husband reviews Drinks crafted to perfection. It's was good to meet the bartender. I appreciate the efforts of chef. House made Rose ice cream was very delicious. I loved it. The staff was very welcoming and interacted nicely, checked on us from time to time.

Alpha gal friendly: vegan dishes available and coconut milk is gum free. The staff let me see the coconut milk used to confirm that it was safe to eat and I very much appreciate their support for food allergy concerns. Great ambiance, food, and service. I wish I had tried this place sooner.

Absolutely a gem in the heart of old town! The food is well presented and flavorful in every sense. You can pick any item off of the menu, you won't regret it! We had olive naan, biryani, daal makhni, payasam & rose ice-cream and it was worth every calorie! ;) The restaurant itself has a fresh vibe and has a modern feel to it.

One of the BEST Indian restaurants in the DMV, and definitely the best in Old Town, Alexandria! Shoutout to Christian who was very friendly and attentive.
Excellent experience. It’s amazing for what it is — a modern twist on Indian food. I was pleasantly surprised that they managed to create innovative and unique dishes while maintaining the soul of traditional Indian flavors. The service was great as well; we felt very well treated the entire time. Would recommend this place. I will be back.

Came here last night on a triple date with some friends. The food was really good and I found myself excited to go back and try more of their food. I will say it is a bit loud but that’s not a deal breaker for me. The service was excellent and food delicious. I had the Familiar faces non alcoholic drink that was very yummy and my entree was a delicious shrimp coconut curry cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
This is a family and friend favorite. It’s one of the few Indian restaurants that I love to introduce my family and friends to in the DMV area. I love bringing folks who are visiting to this restaurant. Most of my friends and family are vegetarian and Kismet is one of the consistent local restaurants that meets that well. The staff is lovely, the food is excellent and I’m happy they’re in Alexandria.
Ordered a vegan meal , was very good chole, rose ice cream, Bombay sliders aka pav bhaji okra fritters, paneer starters. Every item we had ordered was good.
