Great food but the new guy at the bar decided instead of handing me my change directly as I gave it to him he placed it on the counter and quickly walked away, did not say thank you, was very rude! Unacceptable behavior from any grown person especially serving food you truly need a lesson on customer service, kindness and general respect for others! If I hand you money I expect you to hand it back the same way not hand my the cash then put my change on top of my pizza box and walk away like you have better things to do and not even say thank you have a great night! You get what you give.

This is my spot! Been coming to La Casa for over 40 years and the food has always been on point. It's a great feeling knowing we have a local family owned small business in Alexandria that is successful. I always liked the steak and cheese here; however, today was a complete FAIL! Sandwich changed, fries changed, waitress disposition terrible, and to top it off she tried to slip a 20% tip directly on the bill without me viewing the bill or adding the tip that I wanted. Last visit for me!
