This review is exclusively for La Fiamma's Sunday buffet, which is very good. We've been here for the buffet four times now. Though La Fiamma's buffet offering is smaller than most other buffets, its quality is head and shoulders above the rest. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed. Today, service was outstanding with staffers checking frequently to see if we had everything we needed. The buffet includes an omelet bar, salads, typical breakfast items, entrees and a very decent array of seafood options. The dessert table is great with several different cakes as well as fresh fruit. The one thing I would change would be to have vanilla ice cream at the dessert table, not chocolate ice cream which is what was available today. Chocolate ice cream doesn't really go with carrot or devil's food cake. Speaking of the devil's food cake, it is flawless! Still, this our go-to option for Sunday brunch.

Staff was friendly and eager to help. Wish the parking lot door was slightly taller. The retractable arm hit me in the face. The clam chowder, cocktail shrimp, smoke salmon, omelet station. And the fruit and caprese salad spread were lovely. I would have like the roasted lamb to have been carved a little better with the grain of the meat. The sauce and what I could chew tasted good.

You CANNOT beat the Monday and Tuesday $10.99 Large 3-Topping pizza for carry out. The pizza is huge, DELICIOUS, and feeds our family of four. No better deal and the staff is wonderful!

Outstanding customer service and delicious food! What else can you ask for? Recommended by so many neighbors and it lived up to the expectations. Pizzas were delicious and didn't take too long even though the place was crowded. The ziti pasta was delicious too! Will be back for more!

Kid-friendliness: There is a kids' room with tables and chairs, occasionally with Pixar movies playing.

I’m extremely disappointed in the HORRIBLE customer “service” I received here. My family and I ordered takeout. When we picked it up, the receipt on the bag showed our correct order, but I got home to find that 2 out of the 3 dinners were not what we ordered…not even close! When I called the restaurant, I spoke to the manager and explained the situation. She didn’t apologize and kept saying “no problem” and to bring back the wrong orders! Why would the restaurant need the food returned? But more importantly, it was a problem and my time is valuable! And their food isn’t cheap! I didn’t even get an apology for my wasted time. The manager said to come back for the right orders (but only if I brought the wrong ones back) and refused to give us any sort of refund or credit for our time! The only compensation was free cannoli. $70+ and more than 1.5 hours later, that is all we got. I can’t support places that don’t value their customers, which is a shame because I frequented this restaurant quite a bit prior to the incident.

This restaurant may have the best spaghetti in the entire DMV. We came to the restaurant because the restaurant we chose for the evening has gone out of business. I'm very glad we took the chance on this nice little Italian kitchen. Kudos!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Had dinner with friends last night and I have to say we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the service was great. This restaurant is perfect for families with little kids. The portions were pretty big we had plenty of leftovers. The reason for only 4 starts was 2 of the beers I asked for on draft were not available. Other than that it was pretty great. We will definitely be back

In 30 years of working in hospitality I never made a customer pay for a dish they simply didn't like especially when they only took one or two bites. The management at this location refuse to take anything off of the check should you simply not enjoy it. I've had many dishes here and enjoyed all of them but the one time I send a dish back because it was dry and quite frankly the meat was mushy. The manager refuses to take it off the check. It was the only item I had on my check. Manager stated the policy is on their menu, when I asked her to show me she couldn't. Additionally if this is your policy you should inform ALL CUSTOMERS before they order and have signs posted especially in the bar area. How can you force or expect someone to pay for a dish they didn't eat and sent back after two bites? What some people might like others may dislike. Food cost in any restaurant is unavoidable. Management, I ask you this how would you feel if the tables where turned and you was forced to pay for a dish you didn't eat after one or two bites? Manager thought she was going to get me to pay. Naw, not me..

I picked up a pizza from La Fiamma Italian Kitchen last Saturday. I never knew this place was in the area until I found it through a search on Yelp. The pizza was awesome! It was reasonably priced at around 25 bucks for a large pie. The pizza had a flavorful sauce, generous toppings, and the dough was exquisite. This is the old-school New York-style brick oven pizza that's hard to find, and when you do find it, it usually costs an arm and a leg. I even ate the crust, which is rare for me. Yeah, I think I found me a new pizza spot. By the way, the restaurant inside looked top shelf as well. It was full of people. I think I'll take the wifey there soon.
