The place looks really nice, the food is delicious, and the customer service is excellent!
Absolutely DELICIOUS tapas selection. I've been a couple of times now and it's my favorite restaurant for group meals!
Great service and delicious authentic food! The paella is worth the wait and can serve a group when sharing the all you can eat option - it’s a great addition that shouldn’t be overlooked! They even prepare it right at your table.
Such a bright and airy place. I'm so used to walking into dark, dimly lit spaces and La Tasca took me by surprise. I only had some sangrias (which the MANY options were all delicious) but the staff was friendly and welcoming. I hope to go back for more sangria soon! ?
Our server was obnoxious to say the least. She kept coming back as if she wanted us to leave. The place was fairly empty with many empty tables. We finally asked her to give us time to digest before she asked us again if we were done.
Restaurant week at La Tasca is the BEST! You can never go wrong with unlimited tapas for $35! #WINNING
Modern interior, I miss the old look! Food was good, service great!
Always a pleasure to go to La Tasca. The variety of small plates ensures there is something for everyone. And you can't go wrong with sangria by the pitcher!
Alexandria Restaurant Week is a really good chance to sample a nice selection of tapas. I chose chicken and ham croquettes, shrimp in olive oil and garlic, beef steak and lamb with potatoes. More than I could eat for $22. Everything was freshly prepared and service was excellent.
Happy hour we fun the sangria was great and only $5! The appetizers were yummy however the skewers 2 for $5 you get 3 bites each if you are lucky! Taste good skimpy on the food.

I really do love this place but I went this past Sunday and everything was extremely salty. The drinks as usual were delicious.
Overall, it was a good experience until I received the bill. There was a fixed 20% gratuity and 20% tax.
Food is good but clearly the restaurant is needing to hire some additional staff. Busy evening 1 waiter. needless to say that they had a hard time keeping up with service etc. They had no problem tacking on a 20% service charge since we were 6 people. I have no issue paying that when service is en point, but that was NOT the case. The manager removed it and we tipped in accordance with service received.
The food was outstanding, and our server was very attentive and personable. We also enjoyed the presentation of our meals as well as the restaurant's atmosphere.
Best authentic tapas in DC área with some of the worst service I’ve experienced anywhere. Multiple apathetic waiters - it’s a shame.
