Greetings, tiny cozy bar area. Was one other customer & us so we chatted with that person. Then we headed to dining room for dinner/drinks. Jazz band was definitely a nice touch to the night & got us to stay much,much, longer than intended . I don't think the staffs are used to easy fast spenders & lively people like us. Thank you.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location was conveniently close to our hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and cheerful, which set the tone for a great evening. My wife ordered the Mahi curry and said it was the best she's ever had. The presentation was like an artwork, and the flavors matched the beauty on the plate—truly memorable. While Laporta's advertises "Live Jazz" every night, last night was something a little different: a three piece group playing folk and blues back from the 20's and 30's. A nice change up and some really good music that took me to a place and time that I had not personally experienced.
