Got it — here's an updated version that clearly explains the gratuity was calculated on the taxed amount, not just the meal subtotal: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Revised Review Summary We brought a large group (10 adults, 3 children, and 2 babies), and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. We visited between lunch and dinner and had most of the dining room to ourselves. Our server was attentive, polite, and everyone enjoyed their meals with no real complaints....
Nice restaurant with live music, but also an area away from the band where the sound is a nice background to enjoy with the meal. I tried the Virginia trout, which had a very nice flavor but was just a tad overcooked. The hostess and wait staff were exceptional; accessible when needed but not over-bearing. Certainly worth a try.
Our dining experience was almost perfect. The food was delicious and the service was beyond wonderful! Our server, Adonis, went above and beyond our expectations. He was very attentive to our every need, very solicitous of out entire party, and especially our 97 year old birthday girl! The jazz was excellent also. Our only concern was that the area we were seated in was very dark. We had to use our phone flashlights to read our menus. Otherwise, it was a perfect evening. ❤️
