Excellent food, bright clean space, super friendly staff, and excellent margaritas. If you’re looking for good Mexican food without crowds and loud atmosphere, this is your place. We go almost weekly. Inexpensive and quality. The cooks signing in the kitchen is fantastic entertainment. Cool to see people enjoying what they do.

Food is good and generally I only wait about 10 minutes for a carryout order. However, tonight I wanted nearly an hour from the time I placed the order. New staff could not manage carryout and sit down customers. Hopefully next time will be better.

I went in today for lunch after reading all of the great reviews. I was super excited to try their Cazuela Especial that serves 2 people for $30 and their steak quesadilla. The quesadilla was great, the Oaxaca cheese was delicious. However, the Cazuela Especial was not worth the money. This dish includes chicken, shrimp, and steak. It also comes with cheese, tortillas, rice, and beans. It sounds like a lot, but the chicken and steak were not even one inch wide and it was a little over 2 inches long. These were super thin chicken and steak pieces. I wish I would have taken pictures. That being said, it was NOT enough food for two. I'm guessing the 3 choices of protein were only seasoned with salt since it had no flavor. The service was horrible here. I was on a lunch break and took almost 2 hours to get in and out. We knew what we wanted from the start and the food arrived about 35 minutes after. We then waited an additional 20 minutes to pay after getting the check. The guy who served us was very very slow with everything and the woman who cashed us out was rude.

Chips & guacamole were good but meal was poor. Forever to refill tea and then charged for it. Asked if they had sweet tea - yes - then big jar of sugar appeared. Next time go to Anita’s!

My family and I just came back from this restaurant and it was terrific Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. I’m really happy to see a mom-and-pop restaurant in the neighborhood. I was disappointed that this place was not packed, as it should be. I’m hoping that more locals will start eating at this new establishment. It is also conveniently located on Rt 1 with lots of parking space.

Don't be fooled by the outside, this place is AMAZING. Best Mexican food I've had on the east coast by a large margin. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, I have 0 complaints. Give it a shot. Tasty food, strong drinks, clean atmosphere, it's truly a great restaurant.
