Excellent food and atmosphere. We love dining at Lena's. Service and food are consistently good. We love the parmesan chicken wings, and the pizza and pasta are always fresh and delicious.
We came in really excited to try this restaurant the menu looked great, the ambiance was lovely, and our server was genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the overall service made the experience disappointing. There were several mishaps throughout the meal that added up quickly. We had to repeatedly ask for water and still waited an unusually long time to get it. Condiments we requested didn't arrive until halfway through dinner, and my husband's entrée had to be reheated. When we asked for pickled onions, we were told the restaurant didn't have any, even though they're listed on the menu as part of another dish. The drinks weren't much better, the mocktail was watery, and the iced tea was mostly ice. When my husband asked to replace it with a Shirley Temple, we ended up being charged twice. By that point, we were already pretty annoyed, yet we still left a good tip.Even getting a printed receipt felt like pulling teeth. At first we were told it wasn't possible, and only after insisting did it suddenly become an option. The last straw came when we realized we were charged for a kids' apple juice that is supposed to be included with the meal.We really wanted to love this place, but the slow, inconsistent service and all the small frustrations made it hard to enjoy our evening. Sadly, the experience was enough of a deterrent that we're not sure we'd come back. Given everything that happened during our visit, I'm requesting at least a refund for the kids' drink that we were incorrectly charged for. It should have been included with the meal, and being billed for it on top of all the service issues was very frustrating. We came all the way from the other side of Maryland because we were genuinely excited to try your restaurant, so leaving disappointed — and overcharged — feels especially disheartening. I hope you can make this right, at minimum, by refunding
Amazing wood fired pizza The guacamole and mango salsa with chips and plantain chips were first rate
The pizzas were fantastic! We ordered four different individual pizzas and all were great. Signature cocktails were very good, too. Service wasn't the best though. You could see they were understaffed, but there were no apologies for the delays or missed and forgotten items. The bar was covered in dirty glassware and no effort was made to fix the issues.
So this not just a casual pizza place, this is date night, girls night, photo ready place to be. Ladies don’t wear jeans and leggings but show all out to be picture perfect for the photos you are about to take. It’s not just Italian food, there is Hispanic food too! I want to say El SalvadorIan food too. Food was amazing. Finger licking appetizers, dinner was filling and drinks - let’s just say they don’t hold back. Shout to the waiter Jose! He was attentive to everyone at the table. He made sure we selected good food and drinks. It is pricey but well worth it!

Came here for my birthday. Food was great, but the ambience and decorations were amazing. The only negative was when we finished eating our main course, it took a while for our server to come back to check on us. We wanted to order dessert. She did bring us a cannoli on the house because of my birthday, which was nice. I would come here again.
Hi. My name is Carrie. I’m addicted to Lena’s pizzas. I have it bad too. I went to dinner at 151 upstairs. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! I can’t stop going! A friend gave me a slice of their pizza and I was hooked. I feel so sorry for the other pizza places we would go to. This pizza, hands down, is the best in Del Ray/Alexandria. You have to try Lena’s. There are so many toppings, sauces, and ways to build your perfect pizza pie. You will understand why I cannot quit them.

The food was amazing, however I didn't appreciate the customer service... my waitress was pretending to be nice but I caught her staring at me the whole time. It's like she was afraid I was going to leave without paying... I didn't appreciate how I was treated. I probably won't be back because of this.

Lena's offers very good Cuban and Italian cuisine. Servers were friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Ambience in the Cuban space was designed to make you feel as though you were dining in Old Havana. In short, we enjoyed the meal, the people and the ambience.

Didn't visit the restaurant, but had pizza delivered and it was delicious. I'll make a point to stop in and grab a table next time I'm in town.

We ordered a half pizza mushroom and half margherita, with a pesto base. Fan-tastic!
Also had the meat pizza and were big fans.
The cannoli was filled fresh and it was crispy.
The only thing disappointing about the meal was the tiramisu. It was just bland. Next time, I’ll try the crème brûlée.
We ordered delivery and the driver was fast and had great attention to detail. Thx for a tasty dinner!
