Decided that I am not a Cider Guy. Lost Boy Cider has a very good atmosphere (love that they let friendly dogs come on to the establishment) and a good staff but after a third visit (our boys like the Ciders) I decided I prefer Breweries and Wineries over a Cider place. Interesting variety of ciders but honestly, they all tasted pretty much the same, except for the one with habaneros, or some kind of pepper infusion. Taste more like a sparkling water or seltzer to me than any other cider I've tasted before. They all lacked any kind of sweetness and bordered on overly sour or tart. Probably won't be back again. The Food Truck during this last visit was really good though. The Shawarma was tops.

Lost Boy is my favorite spot in Alexandria! You won’t find any other ciders like theirs, not too sweet and they always have so many fun and rotating flavors. The staff are all incredible and friendly, and they always have great recommendations. My fiancé and I love them so much that we’re having our wedding reception here. They also host lots of other community events that support local, small businesses and they have a pretty good variety of food trucks at the cidery.

Yellow Door Concert Series had some great jazz music playing at the Lost Boy Cider last night. That created a cool vibe to hang out in. Lots of ciders to choose from. My favorite was the hot gingerbread cider - yum! There is a self-service water cooler adjacent to the bar.The bartenders were very friendly and provided quick service. They offered tastes/samples of the various ciders to help you decide what flavor to get.Seating options are benches, stools at high top tables, or regular chairs at tables. There is a bookshelf with boardgames to play, which is always fun!Dog friendly place with some sweet, adorable dogs to watch.Plenty of free parking in the lot adjacent to bar. Looks as if in warmer weather there are garage doors to open access and some outside seating.Food is provided by food trucks. I didn’t have anything but other people’s food looked good.Nice that there are cans to go and other merchandise that you can purchase. There was also a calendar of fun events like yoga & cider… Definitely check this place out!

I’ve had a great time every visit. The cider is delicious and they always have fun new flavors. The flights are a great variety and a good way to taste all the offerings. The space is really cool and open, and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth checking out!

It was our first time here and we got a table! My fiancé and dad ordered flights to sample and I was feeling bold and ordered a glass of the Stick season (I believe it’s called) which was honestly in my opinion one of the best ones! It was so good my dad bought cans to go home with! We also liked the gingerbread! These ciders were definitely a little more sweet compared to their other ones but way less sweet than most ciders out there! It was a cool place to visit in between doing activities at the National Harbor!

When you're done with the Frustrated Apple Trees, or the Mighty Arrow Shooter, the Card Deck Cider, or the Beaver Hard Cider (look up the top brands since I should not name them) and you're looking fore something truly genuine and complex, go to Lost Boy! This place is the kind of tucked away wonder which will make you feel like an Alexandria insider every time you visit!Let me start with the location. It's well off the beaten path - in that you do not just stumble on the place! You have to mean to go if you end up going. That adds to the joy of visiting. It's not in a high traffic area so patrons are genuine fans of great cider and quality service.Next, let's talk about that service. I have been a handful of times. From my fist visit, to a visit when torrential rain had the place flooding like they were serving on the main deck of the Titanic, to Sunday run club mornings. In each instance the staff was kind and knowledgeable about both the cider and their customers. It's like visiting a cidery where everyone knows who you are even if its you're first visit. Then there's the cider. If you're done with brands swinging between the cloyingly sweet and the slap you in the face dry styles you'll appreciate the variety and depth of the cider at Lost Boy. Their ciders are decidedly unsweet but noticeably flavor forward. Still, if you're looking for sweetness and depth their ice wine ciders have you covered! Finally, if you want to know for a fact that the place you're visiting is genuinely good, look no further than the apple trees along the curb right along side Lost Boy. Make sure to visit in the summer, grab a cider, and pick an apple on your way out for one last nod to just how pure and perfect a visit you had with these wonderful folks!

This was my first visit to Lost Boy Cider. Lost Boy Cider was hosting a night market with a permanent jewelry bar, tattoos, tarot reading and vintage clothing. There were plenty of people there checking the event out. They brew their own ciders and have plenty to choose from. There were only two people behind the bar so it took a little bit to get the drinks. I kind of wished they had a food truck there. I was surprised by the number of people who were waiting to get their piercings. This took the longest amount of time. There are plenty of events happening here so I would keep checking their social media to find an event that works for you.
