I love Lost Dog and have gone to the Arlington locations for years. We were in town for a funeral and went to the closest one to where we were staying. The service was AWFUL! We waited over 40 minutes for our pizzas, had to find the server multiple times for help, and they didn’t do the checks correctly. I was so disappointed because I’ve never had this issue at any other location. When it was time to leave I saw no employee at the bar, none in the restaurant, and walked over to carry out and saw 6-7 people hanging out behind the counter just chatting. Thankfully the food was still top notch but when you have to go searching for help at 1pm on a Wednesday and there are maybe ten customers in the restaurant, something is wrong.

The red tin tin pizza was slightly above average just looking at the sauce, cheese, and toppings. However, I was not a fan of the crust (weirdly like whole wheat and not crispy or chewy, rather like a dinner roll).The artichoke spinach dip was really tasty. They put cheese in it as well to add to the combo. I like that they serve it with pita bread in addition to tortilla chips (the chips were kinda stale). Big selection of craft beers.

It's fine for what you should expect. Nothing great in general but a decent spot for lunch. The menu is enormous with hundreds of options including 50 sandwiches. They even have pizzas and about 10 Italian dishes. So as you might expect it's hard to put out great food when there's so many things for the kitchen to do.

Silver ware dirty along with glass of water. Not one time did the server ask if I needed anything. The bill was placed on the table before I finished the meal. Will not ever come to this place again and fully will not recommend the cafe to anyone else. First time here and last.

I have dined at Alexandria Virginia restaurants for over twelve years - I can honestly say this was the worst customer experience I've ever had. I walked into their Henry's Street location and no customers were there with five employees. Two were eating! A male server sat me at a table. I asked to start off with a cup of coffee and he said he would check if the coffee was ready - I watched him. He didn't check on coffee at all - just folded napkins for five minutes and not one of these five employees even bothered to check on me. I walked out and they didn't even care to ask - what happened.

Super cute aesthetic. Staff left us hanging for some time. We had to get up to notify the hostess that we were never waited on. Waiter ended up being sweet and accommodating.Gourmet in the tagline guys… the pies are made from frozen, pre-made pizza rounds. The toppings were fresh; the dough, not fresh at all and does not deserve to share the word “gourmet”. Overall mediocre.
