Wegman's you can do better. I bought lobster meat ($11.12) Sat. Oct 14--expiration Oct. 18. When I went to eat it on Oct. 16, it was coated with white stuff and I assumed it was bad. I work so I didn't get a chance to return it until Oct 21. Marsha at the customer service counter Stovall Rd. Alexandria, VA gave me a hard time about returning it. Wegman's you can do better!

Ordered a cake for my sisters birthday. Was disappointed that the cake was very basic. Tastes just like store bought grocery store cake. Wegmans desserts are typically very good, but the birthday cake I will never order again.

The coffee shop in Wegmans does not allow you to use your own cup, even a 20 oz which is their Large size. Given the abundance of plastic packaging in their deli and prepared foods, it's obvious Wegmans couldn't care less about the environment. They got rid of plastic bags only because they didn't want to deal with Alexandria's bag tax.

The best place to stop, eat, shop and relax any day of the week. Food is always fresh and hot. Store is clean and staff is outstanding. Hours are 6am - Midnight.

I bought a fresh Spanish mackerel from the seafood department at the Hilltop store in Alexandria. Had the head and fins removed. Cook it and it was poor quality. A waste of 12 dollars. First time to buy fresh fish from this store. This recently moved to the area and won’t make that mistake again.

Gravy is not given when ordered party tray biryani upon from that 8-10 members biryani was not even sufficient enough 5 members. Worst experience. Very rude to go service.

Friendly greeting by the hostess, seated immediately. Waitress was pleasant, by did not arrive quickly. Orders were taken efficiently, prepared as ordered and aerved qu ckl y. The food was excellent!

On "Oyster Mondays" (from 4pm-close), there are specials on oysters: $1/oyster on a half shell, $16 fried oyster basket comes w/herbed fries, $16 oyster po' boy w/herbed fries. Also, M-F happy hour deals on drinks and half-price appetizers. We enjoyed excellent service from Janine (who is invaluably bilingual). The oysters were fresh, clean, sweet and briny. We have been to oyster specials at other restaurants and find that the quality at Wegmans Pub is always good. Outside happy hour or on the regular menu, the food is tasty and comprised of quality ingredients.

Nice service and good food.

The food was just average, I had a Caesar salad with their special mashed cauliflower dressing and it had no flavor at all. It was a disappointment. Also, they don't have gluten free options, just gluten sensitive with no guarantee of cross contamination, deal breaker for me. The service was good, everyone was very friendly.
