Don’t understand the hype, spicy dragon roll wasn’t fresh and they use too much rice.

Went in at 8:38 to order a couple of rolls to go. They close at 9pm. There were also 5 tables seated and eating. The lady with short hair fussed at me that they were closed and waved me off and walked away. I said that I only wanted a to order a couple of rolls to go and she just waved me off in front of everyone at the restaurant.
Don’t go unless you want sushi with a side of bad customer service.

Matsui is hands-down one of our favorite spots for sushi — a perfect mix of creativity, freshness, and warm hospitality.

We started with warm edamame and miso soup. The edamame was served at just the right temperature and lightly salted. The miso soup was flavorful and perfectly seasoned

My personal favorite is the Godzilla Roll — it's as bold as the name suggests. It's colorful and the perfect balance of texture and richness. Every bite is satisfying and full of character.

My husband swears by the Spicy Dragon Roll, and I can't argue — it’s fantastic! The sweet and spicy combination makes it irresistible. He orders it every time, and honestly, I always sneak a piece or two.

The service is consistently great, and the atmosphere is relaxed — perfect for date night or just a casual sushi fix. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the presentation is always beautiful.

I’ve tried a few sushi restaurants in the area, but this one is now my favorite. It is a cute, intimate little restaurant, and the environment is very welcoming. I received a friendly greeting when I came in and the workers took a lot of care with preparing my to-go order and making sure everything was there. I got the shrimp tempura udon, The salmon lover roll, and the rainbow roll. All items were very good and it is my favorite sushi I have had so far in the area. I will definitely be back.

Got the Volcano Ramen! Husband got the Spicy Miso Ramen and son got the Miso Ramen. All of them were delicious! Large portion. Clean. Nice staff.

The food here was very good. I had the volcano miso ramen, and it was full of flavor. I was told that it was very spicy, but did not find it so, but still enjoyed it. I also had the steamed gyoza which was very tasty as well. The group I was with had sushi and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very poor service. Our server ignored us during the entire time. He was more busy socializing with people in the next table. Didn’t even serve us water. After multiple failed attempts on trying to catch his attention, another very sweet lady came and helped us with our orders. I didn’t want to even give him 1$ tip for him but they have a crazy rule that they share the tips among employees. So clearly no incentive for him to take some extra efforts. I no longer go there. This one person made our experience so bad. If there is no respect served and we don’t feel welcomed, what’s the whole point.

Great takeout. However, they didn't provide silverware, which was a minor detail, so ask for utensils if needed. It is a smaller restaurant with nice seating in booths.

i ate some don katsu and it gave me food poisoning for the rest of the night. place overall is good but be careful when ordering the done katsu, shit had my stomach rolling

Great cyst9ker service and Sushi is fresh!

The welcome was lackluster. This is a small establishment and they had reserved tables at every other booth. I came in with my son, niece and cousin, all kids under 10. When every seat was reserved I decided we would order and leave. When we ordered, the cashier was nice and helpful, but a waiter that needed to get to the payment portal rudely told my kids “excuse me, excuse me I need to get to the payment portal.” He’s lucky I had company or he would have really received some constructive feedback. My son and I don’t do ramen, but it’s what the other kids wanted so we stopped by. Next time we won’t.
