Jada, was our serve and she provided A-1 service. The Food was filling and the flavor was throughout. I had shrimp ans grits and my husband ha grits and salmon and they did nit miss. I also had a lavender mimosa and it was light. Loved it. This is a must visit for anyone living or visiting Old Alexandria VA. Thank you for your service, kindness, and great food.

I came here for my birthday, and honestly, it was just okay. The host was on her phone looking at Instagram when we walked in — she was sweet, but it felt a little unprofessional. Her energy was still better than my server’s, though.
My server brought my dessert out first, which was confusing — usually dessert comes last, right? And it definitely wasn’t a surprise because she asked me about it . Then after about 15 minutes, she asked if anyone had even taken our order yet. I work as a server myself, so that part really threw me off. She barely checked on us (maybe three times the whole visit) and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there.
Overall, the experience made my birthday brunch and first visit to Milk and Honey feel kind of dull. The guy who brought my water had more enthusiasm than my actual server. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Oh man, what a great place! The vibe, food, service…everything was fantastic! The shrimp and grits are low country South Carolina legit…absolutely delicious. We will for sure be back the next time we are back in Alexandria😊
