What a charming restaurant in old town! The staff was fabulous, prices reasonable (surprisingly for Old Town these days), it had great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be going back!

The service here was really good and the food was the highlight. We had been here for dinner, they seated us and gave us time to decide on our order and gave their recommendation too.. It was a chilly evening, so had ordered Manchow soup which was well prepared. For main course we ordered Paneer Lababdar, Kadhai Paneer and Garlic Naan all very tasty.

Excellent food and the service was friendly. Our waitress in particular made it an enjoyable experience. So good we almost went back the next night. Peaceful atmosphere, great location just outside of the chaotic part of king street.

This restaurant was amazing! I was traveling this week and found it a close walk from my hotel. The butter chicken and garlic naan were some of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was calming and the restaurant was quiet and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Kid-friendliness: There were definitely a few families with kids dining and everyone seemed happy.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is top tier (would definitely recommend any and all their curries, chats, naans, basically anything on their menu), the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere feels warm and fuzzy.

I've been coming here for years since I first moved to Alexandria and have not found a better Indian restaurant in the area.

Bring your co-workers. Bring your friends. Bring your family, extended and all. Even if you don't know them all that well, everyone will enjoy the experience and meal at THE Namaste Jalsa.

I really enjoy Indian food and have dined at a fair number of Indian restaurants over the years. Namaste JALSA was only the second one that impressed me. My lamb dish was delicious, and the lamb was tender, very lean, and high quality. Medium spicy was too spicy for me. But that was my choice. I had a mango lassi, and that was the best I ever had. It was very thick and creamy and not too sweet. Their menu has a large variety of offerings that represent many Indian regions. The dining room was very neat and clean, as shown in my photos. They definitely deserve their high rating.

Great service, Linda was very kind with me and she also speaks Spanish in case a tourist from Latin America can give it a taste to Indian food, she will guide you on what to order. Service 100/10 and food very delicious

While visitors, we felt at home dining at Namaste JALSA. Our server Linda made us feel welcome and appreciated as did the rest of the wait staff. The menu was extensive and our food was incredible!!! We enjoyed all this from our quiet, enclosed booth, a respite from the busy city. Thank you to all at Namaste JALSA, you got a good thing going!

Some of, if not, the best Indian food my wife and I have had. I believe the owner chatted with us for a while and gave us tips on when making our own korma and Tikka masala. The dishes all had a slight sweetness at the end to them that made them delightful!

Food was good. Had the lamb kabab, garlic nan, and vegetable pakora (which were more like pakora croquettes than I am used to). Everything was tasty and well seasoned. Service was attentive and the prices were reasonable.
