First time visit and I'll be back! Many vegetarian choices but my choice was the goat biryani - delicious. And the service was warm and attentive. A comfortable, family-run spot on the west end of Old Town.

Food is really good as always, but given the price, the portions sizes could be bigger.

Stopped by with my 3 kids (2 teens, 1 tween) and my husband. We got the lunch buffet. Loved the paneer and the korma. My kids ate a lot and loved it all.

For a $14.99 buffet, don't think one can get a better value of a meal in the King Street area of Alexandria VA. We came here for a buffet lunch. The food, while limited in variety, was tasty and adequate. It included Indian tea and dessert.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. We had the garlic naan, chef’s platter appetizer, butter chicken, and chicken curry. All of it tasted great. We wish we lived closer. We’d be back often!

Delicious butter chicken, even better curry. Best garlic nan we've ever had! Outstanding service, as well.

Family and I went for the lunch buffet. The decor was pleasant with lots of seating. The servers were attentive but not overbearing. The surfaces and floors were very clean. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty delicious. The chutneys were zesty, the chicken was tender, homey dals and paneers, and naan that struck the balance between crisp and chewy in the best of ways. We kept trying to make it there on the weekday but could never find the time and as if they somehow knew that was the only thing keeping this from being our new favorite place, they now have it on SATURDAY! Best $14 spent in ages. Go there asap.

Been eating here for about 4 years now. I’d like to say this is the best Indian food around the Alexandria area, I’d even say the DMV from my experience and Indian food is my favorite. The flavors here are top notch and the most fresh, other places are good but dull in comparison. My favorite dishes on the menu are Curry Goat (Spicy) and the Goat Biriyani (Spicy). The portions are really good for the price as you know Indian food is typically expensive but it’s so worth it. Also the staff, the lady, Linda, at the front is always super sweet and helpful I just love this restaurant personally. 10s all across the board from me.

One of the most delicious places in the area!
Every time we come to Alexandria we have to visit this place because it’s just THAT good.
All the food is excellent and well-seasoned, there’s something for everyone.
Linda, the lady who took our order, was really kind and friendly!
Come and check it out 🫶🏻

We enjoyed the chicken curry, the paneer tikka masala, the non-veg thali, garlic naan, chai tea, mint mojito, galub jamun and kheer. We were visiting DC, and the food was so good we came in a second night. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff and owner very professional and personable. Highly recommend.
Amazing service. Very considerate and it wasn’t crowded at the time my wife and I visited. We asked the server to explain the menu and he was very thorough.
Dipen was our server 👍🏾👍🏾

Phenomenal. Best Indian food I’ve had. The taste is too good and prepare dishes very neatly. The staff are very attentive and care about the hospitality they provide. Hope to return for a third time.

We had the butter chicken and lamb tikka masala—hands down the best lamb dish I’ve had outside of India. The naan is done perfectly: thin, chewy, and always served fresh and hot. We’ve loved our go-to dishes so much that we haven’t ventured to try anything else yet! My husband and I usually share a curry with two orders of naan and leave absolutely stuffed. We can’t wait to check out their lunch buffet next.
