I drove 5 hours just try the dinner cruise, the boat was very old, needs some remodeling, however the crew was nice, the food was good, they didn’t let me sample the wine before buying a bottle, but overrall it was ok. I’ve been on better boats.

A friend and I had a great lunch cruise on Nina's Dandy. The captain was fun and engaging in regards to the informational cruise along the Potomac River. The staff were nice and served beverages and your entrees promptly. The boat itself seemed to be a little bit run-down and old, but it didn't affect the cruise tour itself. I had the Filet of Cod, which was tasty, with a side of steamed vegetables. My friend had the Basil Chicken, and it was solid, too. Both were a little bland, but adding salt and pepper did the trick. Only iced tea were free refills, but other fountain drinks are by the glass. Most of the seafarers were of an older crowd, but it was an enjoyable, peaceful, and a relaxing boat ride. Don't expect the Odyssey - this is a simple, straight shooter of a boat, with solid entrees with a great relaxing ambiance. The bathrooms were clean, which was a total plus! The 2.5 hours went by quickly, and it was the perfect amount of time to mosey about the boat, especially on the top deck, to catch the riverside scenery. They also offer dinner cruises with a more extensive menu and hosts part functions as well. Ms. Andreea Sporea, the Wedding Coordinator, made smooth changes to our schedule when requested. Great food, music, service and fabulous views await each visitor. Just remember to arrive early for window seating. While you wait for dinner go up on deck. The waiter will find you when your dinner is served. If you want to dance, there is a dance floor. I highly recommend Nina’s Dandy! Also there is a free trolley that runs up and down King street. Just hop on at the clearly marked stops. So many places to visit in Old Town Alexandria.

Omg omg omg!!! So lastnight with the help of family we surprised my dad for his birthday for a boat dinner. He was absolutely shocked!!! The dinner choices that everyone had preselected was amazing as well. My parents both had the prime rib as well as i did and my boyfriend and few of our families. Atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Everyone was dancing and cracking jokes just having a great time. The crew was wonderful as well. They went above and beyond since we were a party of 14 to make sure my dad's night was extra special. The ride of going through the whole Potomac while having dinner was amazing. I recommend people coming here for brunch, dinner, special occasions and just a good time for date night!!!
