Not a salad guy but their “sampler” salad is worth a half hour drive, tart, delicious. A hole in the wall joint, with few tables/seats. Old school place. I’d see people from Pentagon lined up to at noon to get that salad. Authetic Greek owners.

The Old Town Deli is one of my favorite hole-in-the-walls to visit for lunch. If you’re a foodie, You’ve probably heard of the Stinky Salad in Old town, and this is the place to get it. It’s technically called the Sampler Salad, and it’s really simple” chopped romaine lettuce, green pepper, onions and pita chips, and you can add grilled Greek Diner-style Athenian chicken breast chunks on top. The hard part to duplicate is the red wine vinegar-based dressing with has loads of garlic, lemon and sumac. It’s amazing, and they’ve been cranking this out for decades – always fresh, always consistent.If you’re taking kids or adults with child-like eating pallets, there are burgers, chicken fingers, cold and hot subs, hot French fries, etc. There are coolers of beverages and fountain drinks, so if you don’t’ want theThe eating area is tiny, so you can probably score a table if you get there by 11:50am or after 1:00pm, but takeout is of course an option. I believe this is still family-owned, abut the mother and adult son haven’t been there when I’ve been. They used to be a real treat to watch as they worked…yelling at each other, and with much love at the same time.Parking: No parking in front of the business, but you can eventually find parking if you circle the block. The Sampler Salad is worth it.

In town for training, and my job coach suggested this place for lunch. She raved about the salad here. We did a delivery order, so didn't go on-site. The chicken salad sammie I had was REALLY good. Certainly fresh and tomato on top made it whole. I liked the taste of the chicken salad, and it didn't need anything else with it. The pasta salad was meh. I could've made a better one at home but I only ordered it as a side to my main meal. Overall, really good. Big portion on the main dish too.

I placed a catering order three weeks before a scheduled event. Old Town Deli canceled my order two days before the event. I think this speaks to this place's overall unreliability.

Love it here! Right by my office and I often go for breakfast and lunch. Love their breakfast sandwiches and every sub I have tried, I have liked!! So reasonably priced compared to anything else Old Town has to offer. The entire staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!! My favorites are their sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, their steak and cheese sub and their buffalo chicken sub.
This is a review of breakfast. Restaurant is a hole in the wall Greek deli run by Hispanics. None of which is an issue. Had good reviews so we tried it for breakfast. Mistake. Maybe they are great for lunch but the breakfast was bad. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich that was OK. My wife got eggs and grits and the eggs over-easy were over-hard and the grits were inedible. Despite us being the only people in the restaurant they made us come to the counter to get the food and despite telling them we were eating in the food was in takeout containers. Overall, not an enjoyable dining experience. Again, maybe their lunch food is great but I would avoid for breakfast (unless maybe you try their breakfast burritos which we did not actually try.)

Unpretentious place that serves cheap quick service lunch and breakfast. For old town it is quite affordable. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. I got the club, which was pretty good, and the onion rings, which were excellent. The Greek platter my partner got was also a good choice.

Old Town Deli may be a hole in the wall, but they have excellent food. The staff are friendly, fast, and great cooks. Sandwiches are under $10. I purchased the chicken kabob platter $15. When I opened my lunch at the office the yummy smell called out to my coworkers. They quickly went to Old Town Deli to get the same. I also have sampled their breakfast sandwich. ?
