Service was slow, and both the skewers and Korean wings were served at room temperature. The fish in the sashimi salad didn’t seem fresh, and the Korean wings came with an odd, unnecessary decoration. Overall, the place has potential, but it needs some refinement.

The sushi was super fresh, the staff very welcoming and kind! We tried the yakitori, udon, hand rolls and maguro trio which was amazing!! The highball was great too! A bit pricey, but great quality. Definitely going to be returning!

This place is so, so good! My husband and I got the shishito peppers, truffle fries, Royal California roll, and Bara Chirashi. Everything tasted amazing, and we enjoyed the presentation, service, and overall ambiance. The interior is smaller but well-designed and reminded me of dining out during my time living in Japan. Our one gripe was we wish there were more truffle fries.

Planning consideration if you’re going on a Saturday: We went at 5 PM and it was empty, but by the time we left around 6:30 it was almost completely packed.

Very impressed by the quality of the food. We loved everything we ordered. The type of place that folks across the Potomac may venture to Virginia for. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I recently dined at Pak Soii on a trip to Alexandria and had nothing short of an excellent experience. The service was great, the drink options were unique, and had variety for every pallet.

I especially liked the details to cleanliness with the hand washing cloth and the pull off plastic with the hand rolls.

The food is flavorful and fresh. Honestly, wish I could’ve gone more than once on my trip.

Great new spot in the neighborhood. We sampled several different sushi rolls as well as Hamachi appetizers. Food and service were wonderful. Pricing is reasonable and service quite welcoming.

I feel bad having to write this review for a new restaurant that we were excited about, but we were very disappointed with our take-out order. We spent $88 on 7 different items thinking we’d get try everything and the total amount (pictured) was no more than a few bites. The meat sticks were bite sized, the sushi rolls were like sample sizes, and the salad was served in a paper ice cream cup. Honestly this was the worst meal we’ve had in this neighborhood in our 3 years here but I hope they get things figured out. Again, I hate to leave this review but the photos speak for themselves.

This new little gem is in my neighborhood we've been waiting for it to open for a long time. Del Ray Alexandria was in dire need of sushi for the past year or so. We went to the soft opening and you would never have known it was there first night. The bartender, the owner and all the other staff were attentive, helpful, and we enjoyed our drinks, food, and the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back until others about it.

I hope you're popular in Del Ray for a long time to come.

Visiting from Florida with my daughter and had a wonderful evening at this great new Sushi restaurant. Everyone from the attentive owner, bartender and staff and delicious food made this a definite place to want to return to . Wish it wasn’t so far away !!! Come to Clearwater and open down there.

Went last night for the soft opening and was very impressed from start to finish. The bartender, Chi, was personable and very attentive and we enjoyed various foods that were all top notch and some nice wine. Other staff who are coming and going were also very nice and you would never have known it was their first night. I worked in various aspects of the restaurant business for 15 years and have been to various soft openings, and these guys did a fantastic job. The owner Jay came by and chatted with us to make sure everything was going well and you can tell he really cares about everything. Pak Soii is a very welcome addition to Del Ray Alexandria and I can't wait to go back.
