Hands down the BEST place to great a decent treat in this city! I came here specifically for KillaCakes and it was totally worth it--All of the treats here are moist and delicious (not to mention pretty to look at!)... If you're ever in Old Town Alexandria, do your tastebuds a favor and grab some treats from Pendleton!

Delicious bagels. Huge line at opening time Sunday.

My son and I are big fans of pupusas. Decided to try Pupusaria Rivera (Pendelton Carryout). OMG they have some of the best I have ever tasted. Whoever made them for me today, THANK YOU!!!

I am incredibly frustrated with this business. I ordered online this morning at about 11:15. I confirmed on Google and Pendleton's website that they opened at 10:00. After checking out on the website, I received a confirmation from the order and a text that it would be ready at 11:45. When I showed up to the restaurant it was closed. Tried the phone number listed on Google, but it is disconnected. I tried the number on their site three times today and they're was no answer. Our card was charged for the full order

Ordered from here today for takeout. Received an order confirmation and receipt. Also received a text saying that order would be ready for pick up at 1145. When I showed up, the entire place was closed. I tried calling and there was no answer. My card was charged for the order.

This place has re-opened and appears to be under new management, so the menu is completely different. Now they have pizza (not the same pizza as before) and Salvadoran food. I haven't tried the pizza, but the Salvadoran food is delicious and I think it's going to be dangerous having this close to my house. My favorites so far are any of the pupusas, topped with lots of slaw (which they give you tied up in a little baggie like an 8 ball) and sauce, the chorizo taco, and the house made juices and horchata. Can't wait to try more - go check it out!

I started going here from when it first opened and loved most the options. I also liked how it kept trying inventive and new food items in the beginning, but it's had a precipitous decline in the last year. Customer service went downhill in 2019 overall, and with anticipation of the reopening not much seems to have changed except everything that was great on the menu is gone. It is now much more generic and limited. Hopefully it starts to improve because it was really great when it first opened, but during these times while everything is carryout Pendleton isn't doing a good job of meeting expectations or distinguishing itself.

Sad to see they have closed especially loved the dumplings, went over to the taco place they opened hoping they had put them on the menu there but no such luck :(

I stopped by Pendleton's last week for the first time and I'll definitely go back. I love that they have a rotating menu of offerings from different brands. I ordered a sampling of Mediterranean stew by 100 Bowls of Soup (delicious), six varied steamed dumplings by Laoban Dumplings (yummy), and pesto pizza by Sliced (very good). I was very satisfied by each selection and so was the friend I shared with. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all the questions I asked. The small space got crowded but they handled the orders quickly and efficiently. Next time it's the Bao and Burrata Pizza for me!

The food is hit or miss. When it hits, you're getting some of the best food in Old Town. The dumplings (and the amazing sauces) and bao are killer, and the sweets/cakes are all top notch.

Was always a great go to pizza place, but went today and it was like all of that went out the window Customer service went away; I don't know where they went. I had waited for about 15 min for our order and a completely different person from the back gave me my order- what was even worse, was my order was there sitting on top the oven for a several minutes. I was the only person in the whole front for about 10 min The food- I don't know what happened! The pizza was very greasy and was cut into very strange shaped, and stupid, slices

Nice lowkey spot in old town alexandria. I came across it looking for new food places on Instagram. Moderate prices. I got a slice of pizza and a apple munch tart. These afternoon snacks were perfect for me. I wasn't sure what to expect for the pizza but it was very good!
