About Pho Nam Restaurant

Pho Nam Restaurant is located on the bustling main street of Old Town, offering a taste of Vietnam through its authentic cuisine. The restaurant's atmosphere is similar to a Vietnamese market, filled with the aroma of fresh herbs, simmering broths, and grilled meats.

The Ca Phe Sua Da, a signature Vietnamese coffee, is a great way to start the meal. The Fresh Garden Rolls and Vietnamese Egg Rolls are fresh and flavorful, while the Banh Mi Dac Biet sandwich is a standout, with its combination of headcheese, Vietnamese ham, French-style pate, and pickled vegetables.

Pho Nam is known for its Pho Bo and Pho Ga, traditional beef and chicken noodle soups. The beef pho is particularly noteworthy, with its rich and aromatic broth. The Bun Thit Nuong, grilled lemongrass pork on rice vermicelli, is another highlight, with its smoky and savory flavors. The Com Suon Nuong, grilled pork chop on steamed rice, is a simple yet satisfying dish.

The service is fast and friendly, with servers bringing out food quickly. The salted lemonade is a unique and salty treat, while the lemongrass pork is crispy and well-seasoned. The place is cozy and not too busy, making it a relaxing spot for a meal. Prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty, though the pho noodles sometimes come in a clump.

Overall, Pho Nam Restaurant is a good option for those looking for Vietnamese cuisine in the Arlington area, with standout dishes and a welcoming atmosphere.

We went there with my husband and my 2 kids (3yo & 20 months old) My 20 months old daughter had just woken up from her nap and she was a little cranky and crying. 1.- When we came in, we grabbed the very first table next to the entrance and the guy who was working there came to us and told us to seat at the very last table next to the register area. We didn’t mind at all and we just said okay without asking the reason...read full review
