Service is fast and a lot of space between tables. The price is around right based on the location. However, there is a lot room for improvement on the quality of food and cooking. The food still tasty depending on your standard. I do see a lot of orders for take out. The portion of pho is a little small from my perspective. I don't feel the cooking style is authentic comparing to other Vietnamese cuisine in Arlington area. Overall it is average.

The food was delicious, good service and the atmosphere was nice. The waiter was very friendly and attentive with us. I totally recommend this place.

We had terrible pho here. The noodles were clumped and the soup was salty, sugary, and flavorless. It wasn't like this before. The service was not great either as they messed up the order and made no attempt to correct it.

Seems more like a carry-out instead of an eat in. Good food though ?

I only had the pork banh mi. But the portion was a bit of a joke. The sandwich weighed about 1oz and had one or two tiny strips of pork. It tasted pretty good but I would have needed two more sandwiches to qualify it as a meal. Will adjust after trying the pho as necessary.

One of the worst viet restaurants I've been too - had the pork chops with rice dish, and sliced beef dish. The pork was very dry and served cold??? Clearly old meat i would feed my dog, not my patrons at $16. The sliced beef was very fatty and low quality meat. Will not return, shame.

On the bustling main street of Old Town, Pho Nam stands as a culinary beacon, guiding food lovers through the vibrant streets of Vietnam. Stepping into Pho Nam is like stepping into a Vietnamese market, with the aromas of fresh herbs, simmering broths, and grilled meats filling the air, promising an authentic journey for your taste buds. Our adventure kicked off with the Ca Phe Sua Da, the signature Vietnamese coffee that could wake the dead (or at least make them wish they had another shot at being alive to enjoy it). This potent brew, sweetened with condensed milk, is the perfect start to an epic culinary journey, setting the tone for the feast to come. The Fresh Garden Rolls and Vietnamese Egg Rolls were like the opening act at a rock concert, setting the stage and getting the crowd going. These rolls were so fresh, they could have come straight from the garden and the fryer, ready to rock your palate with their crisp and vibrant flavors. The Banh Mi Dac Biet was next, a classic house special sandwich that's a veritable United Nations of flavors, nestled within a crisp baguette. With headcheese, Vietnamese ham, French-style pate, and a slather of house mayo, this sandwich is a masterclass in simplicity, balance and finesse, garnished with pickled carrot and radish, green onion, cilantro, and just the right hit of jalapeno to keep things interesting. The Pho Bo (traditional beef noodle soup) and Pho Ga (chicken variation) were like big, warm hugs in a bowl. The beef pho was so authentic, it felt like a culinary postcard from Saigon, with its rich, aromatic broth and tender slices of beef, singing with the flavors of Vietnam. The chicken pho offered a comforting embrace, its clear, flavorful broth and tender chicken telling a story of simplicity and soulfulness, a testament to the comforting power of a good chicken soup. Not to be outdone, the Bun Thit Nuong (grilled lemongrass pork on rice vermicelli) was like the summer hit you can't get out of your head, with its smoky, savory pork and light, refreshing vermicelli making for a perfect harmony of flavors. The Com Suon Nuong (grilled pork chop on steamed rice) was a great complement to round out the ensemble. A dish so satisfying, with its perfectly grilled pork chop and fluffy steamed rice proving that sometimes, the simplest things in life are also the most delightful.Pho Nam is more than just a restaurant; it's a ticket to Vietnam, offering an authentic taste of its rich culinary heritage. From the vibrant flavors of its dishes to the warmth of its service, Pho Nam is a gem in the DC metro area, a place where every meal is a celebration of Vietnamese culture. So, if you're craving an adventure that's both delicious and authentic, look no further than Pho Nam. It's a pho-nomenal experience that's sure to satisfy your wanderlust and your appetite, one slurp at a time.

Very rude service. Food was thrown to us at our table. Small guy with hat and mustache was very mad without any cause.

Love that Pho Nam delivers just wish the food was better. Ordered the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bun and was seriously disappointed.l because I typically LOVE this dish. The sauce was off had red pepper flakes in it, there were no fresh herbs, no cucumber and of course it didn't taste right. My husband's chicken pho ga was better, tasty and a decent option. The jury is still out of we'd order again.

The beef broth is very good but the meat was a little tough. I tried this place twice. The chicken pho was okay.

Decent Vietnamese option with both Pho and other choices. Good service. Huge space. Great Old Town location. I had the Vermicelli Noodles with Pork. It was tasty. I've been here twice now. Pretty consistent, positive experience if you want Vietnamese in Old Town.

The food was barely meh, I’ve definitely tried better places that don’t charge you 15 for a small bowl of pho. The Noodle were very hard. Took a long time to order & the “server” wasn’t around at all but was quick to ask me for a tip when I paid. Expensive and not worth it.
