The Ouzi-Riz Blahmeh was so good, the lamb was tender and the seasoned rice was so flavorful and delicious. The Turkish coffee was thick and thick and strong. We had the grape leaves for appetizers, delicious. And then the owners were so kind to let us try the baklava! The baklava was warm and fresh, yummy! I highly recommend this place. I’m visiting from Oklahoma and I wish we had a place like this.

I had such a great experience here! I tried the chicken, beef, fries, and gyros, and everything was incredibly yummy. The flavors were fresh and authentic. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be coming back when I am back in the area, highly recommend!

Food was good, portions were small, prices were wrong. We went a few months ago for the first time because we saw that their listed prices online looked really good ($7+/item). We went and the menu we were given had everything listed as almost double what we saw online (online my meal was listed as ~$8ish and in the restaurant the menu listed it at $15/16ish? We even glanced at the menu they have posted before you enter and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt — maybe they had just updated their menu and prices? But every time we walk by, we glance at the outdoor menu and it’s not been changed (and again, it’s been several months). Everything was maybe double the price listed online/outside the restaurant so just beware! Again, decent food, but very small portions. We haven’t been back.

Terrible service, and the worker chased us outside due to a low tip amount based on their service.

No one in this business was wearing a mask one some one work there is very rude I don't recommend any one go there
My church had a conference in Alexandria, and a local to the area recommended Pita House. We only had an hour, but we were able to get in and out with ease. The staff was really helpful and friendly while accommodating us. Not to mention, it’s a sit down restaurant that has a more elegant feel than something that can quickly get you in and out.
They had a dish called Kabsah on their specials menu (I hope it becomes a staple for their restaurant); this was one of the most memorable dishes I’ve had in my life. It was so simple in presentation, but the flavors of the lamb and rice were so deep. I asked for no almonds (due to allergy), but the rice they gave me had crispy bits in it that compensated for the lack of almonds. Amazing. There’s about three dishes I’ve had across the country that I can remember the flavors of the dish like it’s etched into my memory. This is one of them. Easily a great recommendation for anyone visiting Alexandria for culture, atmosphere and quality.

Pita House catered my wedding recently, and they were FANTASTIC! Tarek was great to work with and made the delivery himself. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was delicious. If possible, my 60 guests would have given 5-star reviews as well.

Ordered delivery.
I ordered the baba ghanouj , lamb kabob, fries and baklava. The baba ghanouj was decent with good flavors and the bread was still warm. The baklava wasn’t too dry and was the right amount of sweetness. The fries were soggy and limp but the flavor was ok (wouldn’t recommend). The lamb kabob came with salad and rice that were fresh and delicious. The biggest problem was lamb kabob. I don’t know how these kabobs were made but it definitely wasn’t on a grill! The onion has wayyyyy more color than any of the meat does. Absolutely no flavor or color! What a disappointment

Great service, clean restaurant, bathrooms were clean as well. Food was priced fairly, portions were a bit on the small side for some, but i thought for the price it was good.
