Super nice staff. Interesting range of different types of beer. The Oktoberfest is one of my favorites.

Good beer but went out of my way to go here when stopping through town, due to it being a dog friendly bar, come to find out they no longer allow dogs so we had to sit outside in the rain to drink our beer.

I've been coming to Port City since they opened in 2011 and they've grown immensely but still maintained their keep-it-simple, just-enough-personality, brewery charm. I greatly appreciate that they don't try too hard. They've perfected their award winning flagship beers and now build robust seasonal and specialty beers. I've honestly never had a bad beer here and that's because they make the beer their #1 priority.
It can get a bit crowed but never so much that you can't find a comfortable place to gather around a table with friends. There is always a decent food truck or you can get delivery but beer is #1 here. My only wish is that they'd brew a sour, I know it would be stellar!

Update: They have brewed a sour, Cobblestone! And of course it's great!

Great little craft brewery in Alexandria. It's a little distance out of the Old Town area but well worth the trip. We stopped through the area while I was in town for a meeting. Really enjoyed the atmosphere there. They had some great craft brews and good eats from a local food truck.

Port City is one of our favorite breweries in the area. They have a ton of options and are always releasing new beers. You will enjoy them if you particularly like german-style beers! I can't wait until they open a kitchen so there will be food on site too.

There is always a ton of parking, they are very dog friendly, and they host so many fun events for the community! Would definitely recommend.

Great casual brewery experience. We wish that there were non-beer options for those with Celiac disease but understand that it could potentially impact their ABC license. Overall, highly recommend for a taste of local beer!

We reserved a room at Port City for a family event. The team was wonderful, communicating clearly over email and in-person. The flexibility of the space was perfect for our event. We had several children in our party, and the cornhole and giant Jenga was a big hit. The Port City team set up the tables and we brought in our own homemade food and catering. The team checked in with me several times during the event to make sure all was well. Would recommend booking with them!

Tour of the place was fantastic!!! Then a award winning flight of beer. Will return!
