Don’t order online. They barely give you any meat and don’t pay attention to the toppings you request. It was definitely a manager who made my chicken salad sandwich who was smacking on gum while adding people’s toppings. There was absolutely no love put into my order.

Extremely rude cashier. I had paid for 2 fountain sodas, she hadn’t bothered giving me the cups so I reached to get them myself. She slams the cup I am trying to reach for back down and told me I am getting the wrong size. She proceeds to get aggressive and rude. I have dined here several times and purchased large catering orders. This is unacceptable

Look I have been going here for years since this location opened up after they closed the crystal city area. This location has gone horribly the last couple years. They use to have a old crew working there and a old manager what happened to the old ppl doing the morning time a lady name Ty Maria Alice The manager he was a older guy name was Khalid Khaled they had a gentlemen named Brandon Jordan . They took care of you in there every morning they remembered our orders made sure catering order were done when me and my office ordered. The new crew in there they just don’t care. Everytime I come in people sitting on the counters AirPods in . One lady was in the back I walked in she was on break she stopped eating her food came to the front made my sandwich but she didn’t wash her hands no nothing first. They need to get their old people back in here or some changes cause this location has gone from the best to one of the worst

This store literally doesn't want your money.
You can have your sandwich in hand, in a line 10+ deep waiting to pay and they won't operate the cash register. Why you might ask?
Well, there's online orders. Online orders all that matter. It's quite literally all the staff cares about and must be a metric tied to their compensation.
So why won't I online order? Well, the whole point of a toasted sandwich is that its crispy, but when your sandwich is ordered online, they have them sitting around and the toppings tend to make that toasty sandwich soggy. Why should I spend the money only to get a soggy sandwich?
I used to go 3x a week, now I'm done.

I bought some food, and noticed two employees that were making the subs - one touched the garbage bag/bin (wearing gloves) , and then continued making sandwiches using the same gloves. Another rang up an order on the register (wearing gloves), then continued to make sandwiches with the same gloves.
Please train your staff on how to properly prepare food and what the point of sanitary gloves is.
Will not be coming back.

Came here at 2pm to grab some lunch. No one was waiting in line but me. People working there all seemed very busy and no one came to take the order. Actually they just pretended not seeing me standing there. After five+ minutes I walked to the cashier area trying to start a conversation and order and was ignored. Everyone passing by refused to make eye contact. Finally a lady came out of kitchen and asked me what order I was waiting for. I told her I was waiting to order. She told me I should go back to the counter, where people usually order and I stood there for more than five minutes, and told me they were so busy. At 2pm??? Never will I come to this one again.
What a dump. They don’t even try. This place has been on a steady decline for a long time. Most tables dirty, 3-4 employees wandering around in slow motion. No smiles, won’t even acknowledge that you’re there. Are they even open? Tried to buy something so our toddler could use the bathroom but no one tried to take our order. Found the bathroom is disgusting, no paper towels, no toilet paper, items used for cleaning the toilet hanging on the grab bar (had to snatch it out of my toddler’s hand). Just disgusting and zero effort by anyone. If this is what you see in front of the counter, I hate to imagine what goes on behind it.

The people who work here have the worst attitudes. Today I ordered online for the 3rd time and it was wrong again. I ordered a full pickle and they literally gave me sliced cuts. How am I supposed to eat this? I would say half the time the sandwich isn't even cut so you better have a knife at the office. Last week, we ordered a wreak and it came with NO MEAT?! Are you kidding me? How do you make a meat sandwich with no meat? Please clean the oven. There is so much smoke nobody can breathe and this has been the case for at least a year. Is there anyone managing anyone?

Where do I start...of the last 3 times I ordered, they have yet to get it correct. Today, I asked for mayo and pickles - got neither. I also ordered a pickle on the side, and get a pile of sliced sandwich pickles. Last time, I ordered a turkey sandwich and there was NO MEAT. The time before that, I ordered a wreck (supposed to have several meats, including roast beef), and shockingly, there's no roast beef. When you go into the restaurant, staff is completely rude. Sometimes they have side conversations and don't even acknowledge you. It also has smoke in it every time I go for the past 6 weeks. How is that okay to allow your customers to eat their meal in smoke?!?!?!

This location continues to disappoints. Today was the first time my order was actually ready on time but of course, they messed up the order. I paid extra for the bacon and that’s what they left out.

Shout out for customer service. I was a bonehead and accidentally ordered at my home store in Fairfax. As I was walking out their manager (?), Seid, called me back in and said he'd take care of me. He took a picture of my order off my phone and had it out to me in less than 5 minutes. Truly appreciated. I'll be back.

I have been ordering from here for years and it has sadly gone down hill in the last several months.
My orders are constantly missing items and I dont even customize anything. Today I ordered a salad and sandwich. They forgot the chicken in my chicken sandwich, my salad dressing, and the walnuts for the salad.
It is also hit or miss on whether your order will be ready for pick up. I've had to wait more than 30 min after the pick up time which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.
If they get the order right it does usually taste good but they get it right so infrequently I can't give more than 2 stars.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. Quick lunch stop, wasn’t busy and every table was dirty and needed to be wiped down. Unprofessional staff, it’s as if no one knows what they’re supposed to be doing and is totally spaced out. Ordered the prime rib sandwich, there was hardly any meat or mushrooms on it. What an utter disappointment. Won’t be back.
You guys have very slow workers who can’t do their job right or fast the only good worker you guys have is the girl named Xiomara she is a very great worker everyone else is horrible
First time in the DC area. Potbelly was right around the corner from my hotel, after a long flight I ordered delivery from one of my favorite sandwich places Potbelly. My food arrived burnt and old bread. I immediately called but since it was closing in 10 mins and I was leaving to go home the next morning, the manager assured me of my refund, which I have not received. I will continue to frequent Potbelly but definitely not this location. I have several trips planned to DC for business. So disappointed
