Great food. Nicely seasoned almost like grandma’s. Best beans. Also I got “pegao” as requested. The maduros were nice and sweet

We did pickup!
This is a ghost kitchen, located behind some establishments, not a restaurant. Very modern system for pickup. Love their food; it’s very authentic Puerto Rican and delicious! Loved their pastelitos de carne, arroz con gandules and carne guisada. Will order again when I am in the neighborhood. You will not be disappointed!

When I looked this place up on Google, the information wasn’t clear. Everything makes it seem like a restaurant where you can walk in, sit down, and eat, but that’s not the case: it’s only a food pickup spot. That was the first surprise when I got there, because I had made the effort to come expecting a different kind of experience.

The food I received was rice with small pieces of sausage, shredded pork, and fried plantains. The portion wasn’t bad, but the taste was quite salty for me. The cost was $22, and at the end of the order there’s also the option to leave a tip—which stood out to me, since there’s no table service involved.

In short, it wasn’t so much a bad experience as a confusing one: I expected one thing and ended up with something completely different. That’s why I think it’s important to note here that this place is not a restaurant, but simply a pickup spot, and that the food, at least in my case, was too salty.

I expected to sit and eat but was not that type of place(take out only). Was pretty cool though. I ordered and they texted me a code so I could pick up the food from a locker system once ready. The food was very authentic. We had pernil with rice and peas plus beef stew with rice and beans. Added a side of sweet plantains and I was in heaven 😋😋😋😋😋

I’ve had this place three times- the Abuelito plate- absolutely great mayo ketchup, great garlic sauce- the only thing that needs to change is the tostones. Están muy mongos y no están crujientes. If they can fix that- we’re golden. Wepa!

The BEEF & CHEESE PASTELILLO is terrible, the cheese is like nacho cheese and the ground meat was not delicious. The pernil was dry and lacked taste, the tostones were disappointing. The mofongo bites were fine but they were sweet not savory. The beef stew and the side of habichuelas were the only things good, the rest was ok. Overall, I wouldn't buy from here again.

I only come to the East Coast for work once or twice a year, but when I do, Que Rico is one of my first destinations. This place is the very definition of homemade comfort food. It tastes like I’m in my moms kitchen. Absolute fire. Never change Que Rico. Out here doing the Lords work!

Ordered the Abeula’s plate with chicken and it was amazing, The side sauce elevates the dish as well!!

Rice was solid but the Habichuelas (beans) were probably the best beans I’ve had all year SOOOOOOOO MUCJ FLAVOR!!Definitely will revisit this restaurant multiple times.

I’m sorry, but I’m giving it a one star because it’s not real authentic Puerto Rican rice offered it taste more like a Jamaican chef made the Puerto Rican rice! Brown rice was used instead of white rice to make the rice in the flavor doesn’t taste Puerto Rican flavored!!

I’m glad I only had to pay for both kinds of rice which is the chicken and rice and the peas and rice came up to about $19 after taxes before attempting to take anything else from this restaurant!

I had Puerto Rican rice before I have a Puerto Rican aunt that used to live in Virginia and this Puerto Rican style rice. It’s not tasting of the flavor of Puerto Puerto Rico. !! don’t even waste your time coming to this restaurant in ordering the rice you’re not gonna get paid for!

Like I said it takes more like Jamaican flavors than Puerto Rican flavors!!
