Quickfire Japanese Hibachi

Got about 1/4 of the way through a poke bowl before I realized the tuna was rancid. Pretty sure its restaurant 101 to not serve rancid food. Should be shut down. Hope I don't have food poisoning, and wish I had checked the other reviews first, because it seems others have had similar experiences.

Food was a good price but didn’t seem very fresh.

Today I ordered the tuna and salmon poke bowl with the usual vegetable toppings. Unfortunately, upon eating the tuna, I noticed an odd, bitter flavor.

I brought this to the attention of your staff and was dismayed to discover that the tuna was brown and had an awful taste. While I appreciate that my order was promptly replaced with a chicken and steak hibachi dish, I am deeply troubled that spoiled tuna was served in the first place. This could have resulted in food poisoning.

I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take steps to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.

This particular place gave my order away to someone. Then refused to take responsibility. I had to call them to ask about the order. It wasn’t until then that they canceled the order. They were willing to keep my money even though my order was never delivered.

DON’T EAT HERE. Food was not fresh and sushi was bland. Vegetables were not cooked right. They are pieces of food on the floor and tables. Every piece of furniture is greasy and staff are coming in and out of the restaurant. Soda coming from the soda machine tastes bad. I’m trying not to throw up on my way home.

Food was maybe tasty, but I couldn’t try due to allergies. I asked for NO VEGGIES, because of a carrot allergy, and got a plate covered in carrots. I’m itchy just looking at it. Be careful when ordering from here.

With all the options in this area for sushi, do not waste your time, money or hunger on this place. Sushi was ok at best. Very bland and poorly made with bad presentation. My Rock n Roll specialty roll was not spicy and looked horrible. It tasted bland and like a spoonful of mayonnaise. My wife’s bowl tasted like nothing. Bad food with high price.

Nasty they clean the grill and cook with same utensil without cleaning it.

Have been looking for a poke place in south alexandria / belle haven area!! Always nervous trying a new place when raw fish involved but was pleasantly suprised/ impressed with fish & topping portions and salmon quality. Didnt love the style/flavor of the crab protein but everything else was great. Love that you can order poke bowl with brown rice + salad. Will be back! Shrimp tempura and yummy sauce also were good.

the food is horrible and the cook and cashier has terrible customer service skills. not only do the cook and the cashier insults the customer with sexual harassment but they are rude to the customers and needs to be fired. i tried to put in my complaint to the headquarters online and i was blocked. The message would not go thru .. i will call corporate office or send them a written. grievance complaint on the male cook and the male casher . i was there at hibachi last week and the cook was insulting customers on how they dress ,hair style laughing and insulting customer and the cashier was laughing at the remarks as they just kept speaking in another language while Americans ask the cashier to speak English and he refuse to do. this is America and they should not be working in a business speaking one language. i have been in the restaurant before and have heard both the cook and the cashier speak enough English .corporate will be notified.

Sushi roll was tasteful and the hibachi fried rice with chicken/beef was likewise.
