I was so disappointed with the food and experience tonight. Based on other reviews, I expected more. I ordered a medium rare burger and it came out well done to the point where it was charred on the outside. The fries were cold and soggy.The oil in the fryer needs to be changed. I asked for ketchup to cover the charred taste of the burger and was brought a bottle that had a tablespoon of ketchup left in it. I was looking to have a relaxing experience. I didn't feel like the hassle of sending the food back. The server asked if I wanted to take the other half of the burger to go and I told him no it was overcooked. No response. We ordered an apple tart to share and the shell tasted like raw dough. I really don't get all of the 5 stars reviews. I'm not impressed.

Dont get a Miller light draft. The beer tasted like It was moldy milk. The waiter was not tentative to other drink orders. Food was decent for the price. In my opinion not worth a second chance. Just started out bad and felt sour about the whole situation.

This is our neighborhood go to. We love the staff and the food is always very good. My only wish is that the menu had a more often rotation. Many of my favorite dishes are only available during happy hour or on specific days, like the blackened fish only on Friday. It’s great to be able to take our kids here where on the bar side their noise level is drowned out by the patrons. Tons of games available to watch and many fans of different teams converging to root them on. The vibe is great on either the restaurant or bar side, and the regulars are great fun to enjoy company. Highly recommended and we will be there as a regular when you come!

I went to Ramparts Tavern and the managers were so nice. The bartender Christian introduced himself. He chatted with me which was nice. However, I had an experience at a neighboring restaurant across the street and he was the customer next to me. They charged me for a soda water and gave him free to go containers. I have spent a lot of money dining there so I was disappointed about my visit this last time. I just felt like they were picking and choosing who they charge.
Before I finished my wine and was about to leave Rampart Tavern he brought up my google review in detail. I thought it was totally unprofessional. It was really none of his business and made me feel very uncomfortable. Me and the two managers were the only ones at the bar so I don't know why he brought it up or who he was telling the story to? I don't think it was a coincidence. He knew it was me and what he was doing. The details were straight from what I said. I have a right to make a review. I think that was a poor choice on his part and bad business. You don't talk about your neighbors or what happens in their establishment with other customers.

Three of us had a 2 pm reservation. Our table was ready, so we were seated immediately. Our server, Kailey (sp?) promptly took our beverage orders. Once our drinks were delivered, we headed to the buffet. I should start off by saying I usually avoid buffets. But we had already made our reservation before we knew there was a buffet for Mother’s Day. When we got the email, we decided to give it a try, since we always have a good experience at Ramparts. I must say - I was very impressed! The buffet was nicely laid out, and it wasn’t “messy” like many buffets can be from customer spills, etc. Every food item I tried was perfectly cooked. Nothing seemed old or dried out. I tried the a little bit of almost every dish - the beef medallions, the grilled chicken, the shrimp and scallops, the grilled salmon, the rice pilaf, and the green beans. I was particularly impressed by the shrimp - they were so juicy! Other items I had were the mixed greens salad, mixed fruit, a mini blueberry muffin, and for dessert I had tiramisu cake and ice cream. Some dishes my companions had that I didn’t were the waffles, omelets, and grits. In addition to the great food, the ambiance was awesome. Even when most tables were occupied, there was never a wait at the buffet, the servers were never rushed, and there was always a nice “chill” feeling. Kailey did a great job keeping our beverages filled and whisking away our used plates. The experience exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed it so much, it might become an annual tradition.

I stopped in to deliver a few items and decided to stay for lunch and I'm glad that I did bc they have BEST RUBEN that I've had in a very long time. Thank you Amy! Thank you Linda!

My first time here. Dining partner had been here before as part of paid encounter/transaction with person who frequently drank here. Parked on street. Not at all busy on a Saturday evening, which surprised me. Got the idea it got busier later on as the evening wore on. Smallish menu, busy at the bar (bars); appeared to be an alcohol-forward sort of spot. Had a vegetarian burger, which was fine. Dining partner had a turkey burger, also fine. Service was friendly and pleasant. Good spot if you need a drink and are in the area. Lots of seating at the bar (bars)
Enjoyed brunch on a sunny day ? Johnathan was friendly and outgoing. Pleasant experience.

We discovered this restaurant while searching online for a venue near an event we were attending, and we were all quite satisfied with our experience. Three of us ordered the cheesesteaks, while one opted for the fish and chips, and we shared a basket of onion rings, which were delightful. The service was excellent, and the establishment provided a typical yet enjoyable pub atmosphere. We intend to return during our next visit to friends in the area. The location is situated at the end of a strip mall, with ample parking available. I highly recommend this restaurant.
