Revel is a true gem of Alexandria. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for date night or group dining. The staff is amazing. There isn't a bad choice on the menu- everything is delicious and the drinks and wine are always excellent.
I recently worked with Revel staff to throw a small private party in Unwined which exceeded all my expectations and received rave reviews from all of our guests. The evening was truly amazing!

From Miami Beach, visiting family Revel was suggested by my daughter. She knows we like wine. We didn’t have a reservation and were offered a table, but we opted to sit at the bar. We like to get to know the bar staff. We found the bar to be very well stocked and the bartender offered to make anything we wanted. The beverage director helped with picking wines to pair with our food orders, including splashes of different wines to try before deciding. We will definitely be back!

Charcuterie, entrees, and dessert were all excellent on my visit. The food is top quality which I did not expect from a strip mall restaurant. I also love that their attached store sells the same cheeses that are available in the restaurant. They clearly put a lot of thought into curating their menu and charcuterie offerings.

The appetizers, the cocktails, the wine list, the desserts -- all A+!!! The pimento cheese and house-made tortilla chips were perfect to go with wine and cocktails with a friend. The pimento cheese was just a little spicy and oh so tasty. I had two lush French wines. And we shared the panacota dessert with basil seeds. Refreshing and light. Stop in for anything. I think you cant go wrong!!

Just wow - such a warm, friendly atmosphere, where the servers and everyone made us feel welcome. The food was fantastic -- I had a scrumptious chicken, and my friend had the catfish. We had a cheese appetizer and everything was beautifully plated with wonderful tastes and textures. Excited to go back.

Just popped in for a impromptu meetup with a friend. Straight from the airport with bag in tow. If we didn’t fit the vibe, they hid it well! Told Brett to bring us good stuff because our brains were fried and he did. The basil vesper smash and gold coast margarita cocktails were delicious! We had a lovely burrata, gourgeres, and lamb tartare. Followed by a strawberry rhubarb crisp and a dark chocolate crème confection. All yummy! Definitely a lovely experience all around. Will be back to try the mains. Thank you for allowing us to relax!

I honestly need this place to stay under the radar but I gotta give them their props because this place is my new favorite restaurant in the DC area. The food is always good, no matter what you get, the drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is lively but not insanely loud or scene-y, because I am old now and just want to chill with my friends and family. 10/10 no notes see you next week lol.

After we sat down and ordered food, we were told we could not talk to each other!!!! because there was a class going on. we should have left at that point but we sat there in silence. our chicken dinner was luke warm and the bread we asked for arrived after dinner was over. Never Again!

This place is magnificent. Every detail is carefully curated, everything is delicious without being pretentious. Brett And Nikki are masters of their craft.
