Used to love this place but I ordered recently and they either messed up my order or have changed the recipes. The Cajun Chicken wrap had zero white sauce on it which is what makes the whole dish. They also no longer offer a choice of chips or potato salad when you order a sandwich. Butternut squash soup was very good but the wrap was a big disappointment.

Extremely slow service and overpriced. We waited 30-45 minutes for our food, more than once. One time, I get, but patterns define you.

Sorry gourmet burgers are not my kind of burgers plus no bathroom and no garbage cans. Not to mention very sensory unfriendly.

This place use to be amazing. My favorite sandwich (Cajun wrap on the grill) is nothing but lettuce and a two pieces of chicken. Flavor has also been altered by the addition of feta cheese which it did not have before. Shame.

This used to be my favorite carry-out restaurant in Alexandria and then the owner sold his business to another man and everything changed. (Fwiw, I'd give 5 stars to the previous place.) The quality and taste of the food has diminished to the point I don't order entrees or sandwiches but only order soups, salads, the corn casserole and black beans and rice. Those are the only staples of the previous menu that have not changed.

I ate here during my shift one night in December, And I was already having a bad night. This place was like an oasis in a wasteland of capitalism that Grinds us to the bone week after week in order to survive.

I got a delicious Chicken wrap for a great price made with love and it truly revitalized me for my evening. I was even able to sit on a comfortable couch while I waited for my order to be complete, which did not take more than two minutes.

I only spent $13 altogether for my sandwich and my side that came with a pickle as well. It is truly insane to spend the same amount of money at a fast food place where the food is designed to be cheap and robotic

Roseina Deserves more attention and business for creating an authentic and nurturing food experience For her customers. I wish her the best.

Great Stop for Gourmet Carryout!

I recently traveled 4 hours away for vacation and decided to stop by this gourmet carryout restaurant. I’m so glad I did! The owner personally recommended some dishes, and the service was quick, efficient, and straight to the point. The prices were very reasonable, and I even got to try the owner’s own recipe for a healthy juice, which was delicious! If you’re looking for great food, fantastic service, and a pleasant experience, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

This carryout has a nice small town feel. The restaurant is cozy, and the location is great. The menu looks really intriguing, enough to go back multiple times and try more items. The Smoked Turkey Club was a great sandwich to enjoy. However, what they call jerk chicken for their jerk chicken sandwich is anything but. It was a bit disappointing, but it won’t stop me from going back to try other menu items

Dry turkey in club sandwich - like old leftovers. This takeout shop has really gone down. I used to pick up lunch here frequently. No more.

I've only been here twice. The first time was better, I got a Cajun grilled Chicken wrap, wasn't spicy at all, not much flavor period TBH. Still got the job done. The second time I tried the Jerk Chicken wrap, no bueno. I don't know what their house made jerk sauce was supposed to taste like because I didn't taste anything. It was super liquidity and runny and drippy, just wet and didn't taste like anything. I will say it's better for you than fast food, I mostly tasted the ton of lettuce in the wrap folds and tomato more than anything else. I would say give it a try if you want. I probably won't be going back unless it's to buy one of my favorite chips that are hard to find. Mama Zuma's Revenge, those are hot and have flavor .

I got a $15 dollar pulled pork barbecue sandwich and was appalled with what I was given, it looked like a $5 gas station give away. Even Blue and White, Old town deli and the 7-11 across the street wouldn’t dare sell something in such a small size with such little meat. This is the second time I’ve ordered from here and both times have been disappointing but i was taken back by this one. I don’t know how this place gets away with a 4.5 star review or how they make money. Im also told while writing this do not eat the meat loaf sandwich, its “unbearable”. Extremely dissatisfying.
