The dining room was full and lively. it was heartwarming to be recognized by the bar tender who has been a server when I've eaten there before. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was well prepared and tasty. It was enjoyable.

This was our visit time at Rosemarino D'Italia and we cannot wait to come back! Food, drinks, ambiance were all perfection!

Great pasta, great service. Much better value than anyplace in Old Town. Our go to restaurant for visitors in Alexandria.

Wow! We were hoping for a good Italian dinner and walked away with big smiles and a new “regular” dinner spot. Great drinks, seafood medley with homemade pasta (Marinara tasted like it was served on the Amalfi Coast) and yummy red wine.

A happening place--- full of folks enjoying their Saturday night out and Rosemarino's good food and drinks. Food was delicious as usual and a good value, with portions just right. The shrimp/artichoke/linguini special was excellent!

Outstanding all around. Worth returning. Food is fresh. Cocktails on the mark. Great value.

Been in Del Ray for years and finally tried this restaurant. I don't know what took so long. The inside is bright and welcoming, they have a tiny bar and a huge outdoor space. The pasta is where it's at! Homemade to perfection!

I ordered online. Not worth the price. The portion was extremely small and nothing special. Pasta was over cooked.

Veal Marsala was excellent. The carbonara was soupy. The Seafood mix was delicious, a little too salty. My son was excited to order Peroni and they are out. How does an Italian restaurant not have Peroni on a Friday night, start of weekend? The ambiance is ok. I made reservation but I realized it was not needed. Not many diners on Friday night.

They had a group of 24 that consumed their wait staff and produced a lot of noise. It showed in our marginal service. This is the second time visiting them after returning to Del Ray and both times we have been underwhelmed by the service and food for the price. We really like them in the original instance.

A hidden gem in the Delray neighborhood of Alexandria Virginia. Our Fourth time dining here in the past three months. Some of the best Italian food to be found in the DC area. Beware that it has been discovered by the neighborhood. Reservations usually a must on weekend evenings. Food is delicious, service is good, the dining room is small but comfortable and quite enough to have a nice conversation. Call me caveat is that it is a bit I l pricey, pbut worth it for the meal.

Cute little spot in Del Ray. We started out with the fried mozzarella and it was tasty and authentic. We got the chicken parm for the main course and it was delicious.

I am a resident of Del Ray, and I am generally hesitant to leave any negative reviews for local restaurants. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the food quality at this particular restaurant. I have tried several pasta dishes at this point, and I feel that I could replicate most of them at home with similar or better results. During my recent visit, a friend's dish was overcooked, and my other friends also expressed similar sentiments about their meals. I found that my pasta lacked flavor, and the added chicken did not elevate the dish (no flavor at all) Additionally, the temperature inside the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, especially considering the summer weather. This made the dining experience quite challenging for us. Most of us were covered in sweat after 1 hour of dining indoors. On a positive note, the servers were courteous and attentive. The overall experience was negatively impacted by the mediocrity of the food, the uncomfortable temperature, and the high noise levels when multiple groups were present. With all the options for Italian available in this area, I would go here last, which is a shame since it’s so close to my house.
