Hi I visit this location almost 7 days a week to buy something. A salad a burger, Ice cream or anything I like. Being Born and raised in Washington DC we don’t have a Roy Rogers so coming to this area for work I was so glad to actually be able to go to a Roy Rogers. The food is not bad and I absolutely love the strawberry shortcake. But in coming to the store as of often as I do. I noticed not 1 Black employee ever. I’ve been coming to this store for about 3 to 4 months and everyday 7 days a week all of the employees are Latino. And for the amount of Black customers I see. It’ll be nice to see a Black employee. Give back to our community because I don’t even see Latino people eating the Roy Rogers food. No disrespect to them.

Its a classic around my way. Everything that i have tried has been very good. My favorite is the gold rush chicken sandwich. The roast beef is great as well. Fries are kinda a mix of McDonald's and Wendy's. Its also one of the last places that have a condiments bar. Plus, they make real milkshakes there as well. Very underated, but highly enjoyable.

Went for the strawberry milkshake. Had it with their fruit cup. loved it. Bellehaven is green, flat, well landscaped, and family friendly. An oasis. I loved the view and the vibe.

Very clean and very good. Nice dine-in atmosphere. I had a cheeseburger and baked beans. Fixins bar was good. In fact, everything was very good. Tea was very good!/fresh. Service was patient and friendly. Pricing is reasonable

I go to this place all the time because it is close to home however the food is really hit or miss but that is to be expected in fast food. Breakfast is pretty solid (with fruit if you go for a combo) but later in the day is a crap shoot. For some reason potatoes (fries or home fries) are always luke warm and soggy. Nothing a few minutes in the air fryer won't fix.
If you are getting a fish sandwich be sure to ask for extra sauce or be prepared for the driest sandwich ever. Everything is decent once you take it home and warm it up and the staff is always friendly, hence the 3 stars.

Been going to Roy Rogers since the ‘70s (used to be one at the Stamp Student Union at U of M that I’d spent many a cram session in). My old girlfriend used to work at the Roy Rogers in Waldorf back when they had to wear a cowboy hat and greet the customers with, “Howdy, pardner. Welcome to Roy Rogers, may I take your order?” They almost went extinct thanks to Hardee’s buying them out and closing most of them, but they’ve slowly started coming back in the MD/VA/PA region. There’s always a line around the block when a new Roy’s opens because people still remember the Double R Bar Burgers, fresh fried chicken, real roast beef (not that lunchmeat nonsense at Arby’s) and it’s still as good as it ever was. The chicken is indeed on the salty side, but it was like that back when Marriott brought the Pappy Parker’s Fried Chicken recipe over from Hot Shoppes. So if you’re watching your blood pressure, you might want to skip it. They have a rotating menu of new items every few months; it’s Steak & Cheese, Apple Crisp, and Onion Rings this month. The Texas Pete Chicken Sandwich is as good if not better than Popeye’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Gold Rush Chicken Sandwich blows Chik-fil-A out of the water. Service is snappy, but they do a lot of tour bus sales from the Mount Vernon crowd, so it can get packed at lunchtime, but they still manage to move everyone through in a reasonable amount of time. They make everything fresh, so they’ll occasionally run low on chicken and you’ll have to wait 10 minutes while they fry a fresh batch, but it’s definitely worth the wait for chicken fresh out of the fryer. It’s not the cheapest fast food, but you get a quality meal and you can still top your sandwich the way you like at the Fixins Bar (I do white onion and horsie sauce on my roast beef, L/T/M & pickles on my burgers). It’s always immaculate since the staff is always cleaning everything down (“If you have time to lean, you have time to clean,” as my old boss used to say). There’s always an older Breakfast Bunch crowd hovering over their hot coffee and biscuits and gravy (they’re one of the few places you can still get creamed chipped beef) and there’s always plenty of seating so you never feel crowded. I’ve been to the Fort Belvoir, Kingstowne, and Frederick shops and of all of them, this one is the best run. Highly recommended if you want fast food that’s real food and actually fast.
