Royal Restaurant & Caterers

Food was delicious and innovative but the portions could have been larger but I did get the 3 course price fixed. Decor is a bit old and dated, but a minor issue. Overall, a winner!

We had a great family brunch. I selected the restaurant, and my family was really pleased with both the food and the service. We were seated at Antoine's table, and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Would go again for sure.

Our family are frequent visitors to Royal Restaurant. We had a death in the family the morning we had brunch at Royal Restaurant. The waitress was so attentive and kind.. its always welcoming and the best food in the DMV. Thank you Royal Restaurant!

A relative from out of town and I dined at the Royal Restaurant on short notice. The menu, including vegetarian selections, was excellent. I especially like the cauliflower with rice dinner.

The only reason that I did not rate the food a 5 is that my dinner companion did not like the chocolate bread pudding. Otherwise, everything was great. Special recognition should go to our server Sebastian, who went above and beyond what would be expected to make our dining experience memorable.

Enjoyed the new all season setup in the outdoor seating area and the dog menu. I'll definitely take advantage of pet meal on our next visit.

Brunch was delicious - something for everyone in our group: the healthy eaters, hearty eaters, the less adventurous and the bold. Will return when we're in the area!

Service was quick for a Sunday brunch! For appetizer, we got a carrot dip with toasted bread. It was lovely but I wish the dip wasn’t as sour and the bread would have less butter. For entrée, we shared the chicken and waffle and it was delicious! Patio area is fully insulated if you want to enjoy the sunlight! Make sure to make a reservation in advance !

Food was delicious. The restaurant is now very pretty and welcoming. The server spent a lot of time on iPhone so didn't pay much attention to guests. I'll come back again with a different server.

I need to leave a review for Antoine. He was so professional and welcoming. He was so knowledgeable with the menu and EVERYTHING he recommended was a hit! He was so detailed with explaining the flavors and details of each dish! I was so impressed. Thank you so much Antoine, you are literally the BEST!
