This is the place if you'd like to try authentic Russian/Uzbek food. In case you're concerned about this- this place is owned by Uzbek. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Solid! Portions were great for the price.Food was fine, a little bland for my preference but exactly as described on the menu. All ingredients seemed fresh and high quality. The philo dough breading on the the pasta in the entree were great! Fun beer selection. The borscht cabbage rolls and lamb shish kebab had a very unpleasant taste, it was too salty, and the borscht and cabbage rolls were overcooked. After that I felt sick for several hours. I never eat such bad Russian food in the US.

The table cloth and the napkins were unclean , one of the waiters rude. Complete different experience than the one I had at RusUZ , I am used to get. Will never go back to Rus Uz in Alexandria !

They sell expired glazed cheese curds!!! I bought it, didn’t look at it, it’s a pity I live far away, I would have come and returned it. The expiration date expired six months ago!!! You can get very good value for this in the USA!!!Will never buy anything again at this store!!!! Check expiration dates!!!!

I very much enjoyed my food. You don't get Russian food many places, and this is excellent. The selection of beers from Russia and eastern Europe was fun, and the small attached store with food items and stuff from that part of the world is a nice addition to the experience.
