I have to commend Rustico for their excellent service - on par with their excellent food. Our waiter, Henry, was extremely courteous and friendly and I can’t recommend him enough!

Rustico is a classic in the Alexandria area and the DMV. An early classic and continuing winner for the Neighborhood Restaurant Group, now a small, national gem with its core in the DC area, Rustico has a neighborhood feel with a top notch global beverage program with a focus on craft beer and good food. Staff is always knowledgeable and provides great, friendly service. They'll leave you alone if you want or engage in friendly conversation or education about your drinks. I've been enjoying Rustico for over a decade, and my last visit was as good as my first!

First time at Rustico. There was a private event going on in the bar area, which made the whole restaurant pretty loud for a Tuesday evening. We were seated on the opposite end of the restaurant and it was still pretty loud. It's a very open place. Our server was prompt and attentive. We ordered 3 sharables and a couple cocktails. Everything was very tasty and the drinks (two Old Fashioned) were made well. We had a nice time.

Rustico is part of the Neighborhood Restaurant Group, and it shows: excellent quality, value and service. A relatively small menu but creative - if they have the watermelon salad on the menu, order it!

Lunch time today Friday was good. I ordered chicken wings and chicken sandwich to and in dining tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. overall good but I believe pricy. Our server Carlos was very good and courteous.
The food and service were great. It was very loud but there was a special event with a lot of people in the bar area.

After taking our order and delivering our food, our server ignored us. Never refilled water until I asked him to after we'd been there 2 1/2 hours. Place wasn't busy. Had to ask for check when we got to the three hour point.

I was very Disappointed this time around. This is normally my go to place. And I drive a distance as well. Every time I go I get the Fish And Chips. Usually it's very good. Unfortunately not this time.

We've been to Rustic co many times and love it. This time started off differently. We had a reservation and the host was one of the rudest people we have ever been greeted by. He barked out where to stand, barked out to follow him to a table and when being seated we thanked him twice he never acknowledged nor says d ‘you're welcome'. Certainly didn't start things off well;,but, our waiter was delightful, welcoming and helpful, the food was terrific and we were glad we didn't let the start ruin our evening. The host working 7 pm on Fri 2/28 was either having a bad evening or was not suited for the role.
