I had a great experience tonight and the chef was amazing as well as funny, will be going back with more coworkers. Thanks for the experience and laughs.

The food was amazing, my first time trying seaweed salad. Atmosphere is great aside from the super harsh lighting and the 20 year old radio music blaring. The waitress took my water glass from the table- her fingers went into the top, and went and filled it up and brought the same glass back. Please don't do that, sugi. And the door greeting man was awkward as was the waitress. But aside from that, great time great place, maybe just an off day for the people here ?

Food was on point, customer service was excellent. Even a little bit of history about the different types of fish. Plans to return and check out the Hibachi grill.

Parking: Plenty of parking available 2 hour limit for retail customers.

It seems like there was a glitch via an Uber eats order I made (geolocation problem). I cancelled immediately after the order was placed. According to Ubereats since the merchant accepted the order I was charged the full amount since the already started to ‘prepare’ the order. Not sure how that’s possible considered I canceled a second after.

The service was underwhelming and ruined the experience.

Our server must have been new or inexperienced because he seemed unsure of himself. He forgot about the drinks we ordered and brought out one plate at a time.

One of our entrees came out cooked incorrectly (the steak and shrimp were overcooked). After we sent it back, the manager came back to say “the chef confirmed the steak was medium rare”, which feels like a big no-no in the service industry. I feel like it’s pretty intuitive to know not to correct the customer and tell them they’re wrong.

The manager then was pretty cold to us and as he started serving us, reached right in front of my face as I was eating to pour the water.

Overall, just pretty rude. I’m not impressed.
