1 hour wait for 3 items… raw fish items… 85 dollars. Horrendous service.I showed up at 7:40 after work and placed an order of 2 sashimi bowl and 2 nigiri. I didn’t get my food until 8:35. That’s horrid. They gave me ice cream to make up for it. Thanks… I’m lactose intolerant. Also the rice looks stale and fish looks slimy. I paid for it I’ll probably eat it. I feel bad for my fiancée she has had to wait for dinner and I’m coming home with this mediocre meal.

RODENTS running around the restaurant the entirety of our dinner. Told the hostess, they were not even slightly alarmed which makes sense because there are reviews of other people saying they saw mice as well. Also, nobody ordered seafood with our hibachi however I found a large piece of a CRAB SHELL in my food. Only received 10% off on our tab for “inconvenience” surrounding the rodents. Do not dine here…..

Hibachi was good, the experience you expect. We called ahead (party of 6) and were seated right on time with another couple. Chef was funny and personable, did the usual stuff, throwing veggies into your mouh, squirting saki, onion vocano, egg theatrics. Drinks were good, food was great.

The food and service were great. Very attentive staff. Soup and salad are very flavorful..bomb ginger dressing. My hunny and I was enjoying the night until I saw a mouse run under the adjacent hibachi table. I did tell the hostess what i saw. Overall, I enjoyed the place, but I hope they definitely handle my concern quickly.

We come to Samurai every year for my son’s birthday. It’s a tradition and the whole staff and chefs never disappoint with great food, atmosphere and service! We look forward to coming back again next year! Highly recommend for small or bigger groups!

Samurai Hibachi is the best hibachi restaurant in the DMV! We've been coming hear for years and it has become the place we come for our sons birthday dinner. The food is delicious and the staff are all great and make for a fun and exciting atmosphere. Can't recommend them enough for smaller and bigger groups. Look forward to our next visit!

I ordered salmon sashimi on rice to go. Waited for 20 min.After arriving home and starting my meal I discovered salmon was frozen solid and icy. So I was waiting 20 min for chef to cut 8 pieces of frozen salmon- a no no for Japanese culture . I went back and requested to change it .instead offer my full refund and meal on the house They offered to put already cold rice separately in the box and new salmon on top. I asked to refill entire order since I already poured the salad spice and soy on top of that frozen garbage. I had to ask 3 times to refill my order . Shame .

One of the few Japanese steakhouse in Alexandria, Va. If your looking for a place with good food this place is the place to be. First time I ate here was take out, the second time I sat for hibachi with my picky kid. The food is delicious. My daughter loves to get the steak and rice and she is obsessed. Usually my daughter is a self proclaimed vegetarian. So it's shocking to see her even want any meat, let alone a steak. But she loves it. Honestly the hibachi show was nothing extravagant. Probably all of 7-10 min. (Not the best I've seen). But the food is delicious. The large hot sake will also serve 2 people if your a sake drinker. For some reason my take out the first time seemed to have a lil extra love in it. That's what brought me back. I will definitely return. Good family spot.
