Disappointed with Recent Visit – Poor Service and Incorrect Order

I've been to Sardi's many times to order lunch, and most of the time I've received the correct takeout order without issues. However, this past Friday was a completely different and disappointing experience.

When I arrived, I was assisted by two male staff members—one was handling the chicken, and the other was serving the sides. I politely asked if they could put the rice and beans in a separate container so they wouldn’t get mixed with the chicken. The man immediately said no. I asked again, nicely, and instead of helping, they spoke to each other in a dismissive tone and gave me a very small portion of rice and beans in a tiny white plastic container—something more suited for a dipping sauce or a child's side, definitely not for a regular meal.

When I got to the register, the cashier looked surprised when she saw how small the container was. She glanced over at the two male employees but said nothing. It was clear she knew something wasn’t right. She should have corrected the issue right there but chose not to. Only as I was walking out did I hear her ask the two men why they had done that.

It’s disappointing that they didn’t serve the order correctly, especially when I ordered in Spanish—what would have happened if I had ordered in English? This experience really left a bad impression, and sadly, I think I’ll be staying away from this Sardi’s location. I’ll be looking for another rotisserie chicken place that actually respects the customer's request and serves the order right. Comment coming soon

Food is great bur service is poor the woman with redhair always keep me waiting and gives attitude when i ask about my food couse i order online the whole time and she gives priority to walk in like i am not a customer or i didn't pay ? Its so frustrating that my food even gets cold i hope they fix this

I ordered online for a later time since i was coming 45 mins away. Get to the resturant 5 mins after the requested ready time and still had to wait 20 more minutes just to be told it wasn't ready. I'll skip the trip next time.

Good place. I have been here different times and have tried different plates. Unfortunately can’t rate them at 5 stars. However their location is very convenient.

This location really seasons their chicken and you can taste it. I love that. The only big thing I dislike about this location is that they don’t cook their Brussel sprouts & carrots all the way, they are always very hard and taste raw when you bite into them. Please cook them longer until they are softer.

Delicious food at a great price. Big portions as well. I especially like the Brussel sprouts.

This last Summer, we had great experiences with this place. A month ago, the chicken seemed dry and under-seasoned. Today, the chicken was completely dry, the "carne asada" (it's supposed to be Bistec a lo pobre) had NO seasoning, the Arroz Chaufa tasted like it sat at room temperature all weekend. Clearly this place lost whoever was holding it together, and whoever understood how to cook Peruvian.
