Really cool location in an unexpected spot. I'm a local and regularly stop by the Popeyes next door and finally checked this place out. It definitely gave me Old Town Alexandria vibes in a part of Del Ray I didn't expect. Even on a chilly night business was fairly busy. Service could have been sharper though. There was definitely more love shown to the bar than the table and they got my order wrong but I'm open to trying this place again.

@hopsnshine I've never had moonshine cocktails before so this was a real treat! We also had some great food to pair with them as well:? Walt cheesey grilled cheese: Absolutely DELISH, takes me back to the maguc kingdom with a perfect pairing to their tomato soup? Banh Mi hot dog: loved the sweet and tangy combo? Tots: perfectly crispy and great portion? Wings: Yummy, great classic w/lots of fun flavours? Moonshine margarita: Spicy nut not overwhelming, I think it's my new favourite marg to be honest? Shine Mule: Yummy, light and refreshing? We also got surprised with a dessert cocktail: it was like a white Russian with moonshine and soooo goodOverall I'd say 10/10, will also definitely come back here. My team and I went to Hops N Shine recently for a Happy Hour. We sat in the back of the venue. They have cornhole and a couple of other games outside. Their staff did a great job recommending beer and food to my group. I tried this Strawberry Cider. I lie to not it was the best Cider I’ve ever had. Aside from the beer options, they have a very diverse grilled cheese menu that paired well with the beer & ciders. My group staffed there for about 2.5 hours. My group tried the pretzel and the tatters with beer cheese. The beer cheese was fantastic. I wish I had pictures but it was finish so fast. I highly recommend this spot.

It's a little hole in the wall place but they have amazing sandwiches and a large variety of beers and even some moonshine. It's definitely a laid back atmosphere and they have some games like corn hole set up in the patio area. I had the tuna melt and it was sooo good. I also had the shine mule. It was a heavy pour of shine. ?

A great place to relax and catch up with friends!Side note: Just be careful if your on the back patio, sometimes the dry cleaners next-door let big chuncks of lent fly rather often, so watch your drinks!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for gluten allergies

DO NOT miss this place. Convenient walk to the Birchmiere... so location is great. It's next to a 7-11. Don't let that fool you. This place is legit. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Offered water and then a discussion of draft beer options. Cocktails also available as well as food. Food smelled delicious. I can not say enough good things about this local gem. Dont miss the back patio. Everyone was working / hustling to make this customer experience fantastic. Kudos.!!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Northern Virginia. Amazing wings (I would eat the Old Bay wings DAILY), apps, and specialty grilled cheeses. This is one of my favorite places to bring visiting friends or get take-out or hang out in the outdoor area with my pup. HopsnShine is a cool and kitschy place with lots of grilled cheese specialty sandwiches and … wait for it… Tater tots. That’s right, friends. I haven’t outgrown them, and neither have you. And they’re DELICIOUS. Crispy and perfect, they’re a taste of carefree childhood. Try the totchos. You won’t regret it.I also tried the Let’s Shroom grilled cheese sandwich, which was not as melty as it should have been, but the half I took home was perfection after a few minutes in the air fryer.Now let’s talk booze. The Ruby Red Grapefruit moonshine had just the right combination of infused flavor and a little bit of burn in the throat. It also was fantastic in the Sunrise Over Del Ray cocktail.The location in a strip mall belies the wonders of food and drink in this place. It has plenty of outdoor space and is both kid- and dog-friendly. Check it out, y’all.
