The dishes were amazing and felt right at home eating here. Great service

I had Pique Macho in La Paz and it was a gastronomical treat. The Silpacho's House version was far less thrilling. It felt like a collection of component parts rather than a symphony of flavors like the one I had in Bolivia.

Today stopped to grab a meal... it was terrible quality non there... Bolivian food is one of a kind, here it is an insult .I will not return ever.

This place was an utter disappointment. The fire thing you seen when you walk in is an article in the Washington Post of when this place used to be good, I guess. We were welcomed with an endless amount of hammering from below, apparently some construction that couldn't wait until after hours?? We began to order and the first thing we wanted, Sopa de Mani, was sold out, mind you this is before 2pm. A lot of the dishes we wanted to try are only available on the weekends, by the way. We ordered our meals, one "complete meal" which is a soup, meal, and a mocochinchi drink, as described on the menu. But when we ask for the mocochinchi, we had to pay extra....but it's posted that you get one. We grab two bottle beers, she didn't bother to open them for us. The soup was bland and cold. My meal came out quick, but after waiting over 40 minutes, we had to remember me the lady that we hadn't received one of the meals. Needless to say, the customer service was abysmal and the employee just seemed out of her element. While we were there another customer had to ask 3 times to get their order correct!! This place may have been good in the past, but it's worth skipping now, just go somewhere else, you'll be glad you did!

You know the place is authentic when you see locals eat here. Everything looks good so I had a hard time choosing what I wanted for my lunch! Their chicharron is a must try! Highly recommend this restaurant!

A nice little local restaurant with a good steak. It’s definitely a favorite of many in the area!

Oh my gosh this place is so unique and soooo good. I recommend the silpancho de res, really really great. The people there were super nice, food came out fast, and it was so clean inside. Also you should take a couple salteñas home with you!!!

Food was delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was terrific! I am in DC and I happy I found this place just across the bridge.

Bolivian comfort food you are sure to enjoy. Nothing truly exceptional, but worthy of adding to your lunch rotation.

Chicken tenders tasted a bit processed. They were ok but I noticed some gristle within.

The unpretentious Bolivian restaurant features amazing saltenas [empanadas] plus silpancho, carne asada, anticucho, and other authentic specialties at a reasonable prices. The kitchen is efficient for take out meals. Quite a find.
