Yo! this place needs to be everywhere! Seafood was banging. Spent more than desired but well worth it. The scallops on point shrimp home run! You can sit down and enjoy,I couldn't wait. Saw this spot on Google Maps saw the images I finally dashed. If you want good seafood they kill the game!

Food is phenomenal!! My husband and I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and ate at the restaurant. We had the best fried whiting sandwich & whiting basket combo! We then ordered them through door dash about four or five times since then and the food and sauces are SO good. We’ve also gotten the blackened crab cake, flounder, fried shrimp, and of course fries. Everything has tasted great.

today was my second time ordering from them. their food is extremely salty and it taste like everything is fried in the same old grease. the fries were soggy. catfish and whiting we good. shrimp breading doesn't stay on. and this banan pudding needs some serious work. I'm not sure how anyone can mess banana pudding up but this is awful. I really wanted to like this place. And it's super ghetto to package the pudding in a red plastic cup with a sandwich bag over top. Some proper containers is a part of business.

I have been going to this seafood spot for as long as they have been open. Troy, Troy this guy does business above and beyond anything that I have could have imagined or anticipated. Love, Love just Love this place!!! Kicking seafood's tail pardon the pun!!! Pleasing the palate properly!!! Hospitality off the charts, Soulful vibe and so much more!!! Staff was super sweet. It was close to closing time we really appreciate the patience that they had. We had a family member in Mt. Vernon hospital and we lost track of time. Home for us is 2 hours away and was great to have the Skrimp Shack to go to. Lovely people at this location. We highly recommend for anyone to go to.

Order rockfish with 1 sideoff the lunch menu. This fish was dry and no seasoning. I tried to a bit of salt but I couldn't finish. The Mac n cheese was white with what looked like milk. I asked about the lack of seasoning and was told that we will season if you ask!! Who serves fish w/o seasoning?Gave back the meal and back and left.
