I wanted to share some honest feedback about my recent visit. I spent $29 on an açaà bowl, and the experience left me pretty disappointed.
Not only did it take about 15 minutes to make (despite me being one of the first customers right after opening), but I specifically asked for all my toppings on the side. When I noticed they had all been added mix together instead, I brought it up only to be told, âwe donât normally do that,â with a slight attitude. Iâve always asked for my toppings on the side this is the first location of many that I visit that told me this .
To be honest, I found that response confusing and dismissive. If a customer makes a simple request . especially when it comes to how their food is prepared . it should be respected, not brushed off. Whether itâs ânormalâ or not shouldnât matter if itâs a reasonable request, especially for the price.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the quality of the service really affected the experience.

We ordered our smoothies from South Block (in Del Ray, Alexandria, VA) online. They were ready within 10 minutes right when we arrived. The staff is always friendly and warm. The smoothies are great!

Waiter needs more training the seafood scramble needs a bigger bowl so u can mix it better it was under season but most of the seasoning was at bottom of small bowl

Good açai bowls! Definitely filling and worth the money! It was a bit loud in the place but the fruits were fresh and most of my bowl was Nutella so it was extremely sweet.
