First visit left a sour taste in my mouth. Was not aware of there being two ordering points. Within 20 seconds after arriving and standing in line (there was only one other person ahead of us) an employee basically barked at us to go to the second line. The secondary spot does not have a clear view of the menu so I tried to signal to her “no thank you it’s okay, I still need to read this menu please take the next” she very curtly still demanded I come to her instead. I had a simple drink order and she managed to make my drink wrong. Waste of $7

We came with family( little kids) to get coffee and sweets. Place had no line , no waiting customers. Service was horrible , not only guy up front made us repeat our order multiple times with a face he is making us a favor he decided to clean up the whole station before making us drinks. We ate all deserts I checked politely on the coffee and the response I got that we caught him during cleaning so we have to wait. We already waited and kids ate everything. Coffee was served overflowing without oat milk I requested, another drink had 0 flavor. He rolled his eyes on us but at least another lady apologized.
If you go with family to grab coffee and you want to be in good mood please don’t come here, you will not get treated nice and you will not feel welcomed, your coffee will taste like water

Stumbled upon this gem on our morning walk. We loved the matcha lattes! Pro tip: they make their own lavender syrup and it is amazing - add to your matcha and you will not be disappointed as was suggested by a staff member! It was busy so food wasn’t quick but the place was full so we understand that on a weekend!
Great beer selection too - we left with a 4-pack (super convenient btw) of a local beer to take home and didn’t even plan on buying beer at 10am. We will be back to try the espresso martinis!
Staff was friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs which is always a good sign.

🚫 ZERO STARS — DO BETTER, ST. ELMO’S
If I could give zero stars, I would.
St. Elmo’s staff racially targeted my Bolivian friend just for speaking Spanish. When they messed up my order and I calmly addressed it, I was met with hostility — and then physically shoved out the door by staff and an aggressive bystander. All of this happened in front of witnesses.
This place is not only disorganized — it’s dangerous and discriminatory.
St. Elmo’s: govern yourselves accordingly.

My favorite coffee lounge. Beautiful cafe to dine in with friends, read, or work from your laptop. I usually grab Mocha with oat milk, and work on my laptop. They have sitting and standing tables. The servers are so friendly.

Coffee is always really good here and the nitro pro brew is exquisite and made properly. (no ice and not too bitter) . Sandwiches are pretty good too. Baked goods were so so. But I dig the ambience and the playlist usually. Staff is really nice as well.

Cute and tasty. A great spot to meet a friend, or potential friend, for a bit to eat and a friendly chat.

The staff was very friendly. I ordered BEC on sourdough . although the sandwich was piping hot, the bread wasn’t toasted but had really hard edges almost as if it had been nuked in a microwave.

A Disappointing Visit to St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub
As a parent of a child with food allergies, I’ve learned to ask questions, read labels, and give establishments the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub made it clear that if you or your loved ones have dietary restrictions, you’re not their priority.
From the moment I mentioned my son’s food allergy, the staff seemed annoyed rather than attentive. There was no sign of understanding, care, or even a basic willingness to help. Simple questions were met with vague or dismissive answers, and we were left to navigate the menu alone. It was as if concern for food allergies was seen as an inconvenience rather than a safety issue. That’s not just poor service — it’s dangerous.
On top of that, the latte I ordered had absolutely no flavor. It was weak, flat, and forgettable — not the kind of drink you’d expect from a coffee shop that presents itself as a local gem. The atmosphere may cater to a certain crowd, but inclusivity apparently stops at dietary needs.
If you’re looking for a coffee shop that values every customer — not just the ones without allergies — I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

This was my first time here and in general everything was ok, it was a few distinct interactions that led me to give 3 stars.
The Food
I came around 3pm on a Friday(7/18). I ordered an iced vanilla latte, a cup of fruit, bag of chips and a Monroe sandwich with romaine lettuce instead of spinach. The interaction between the gentleman that took my order was pleasant which led me to believe this would be a good experience despite the my total being $25. The food came out quickly which was great. The sandwich was good and I loved my coffee. After I finished my sandwich and chips I started to eat my fruit cut. After eating one grape I noticed MOLD on the other grapes below. I calmly and politely asked for a refund despite being totally grossed out wondering if the one I had just eaten had mold! When I told them why no apologies or sorry or ANYTHING was offered. They just reversed the transaction via the register which is suppose to give me a refund even tho I never received a receipt of the refund.
The Atmosphere
I enjoyed the atmosphere. I came here to work on my computer instead of going to a Starbucks. It was quite but crowded which I like. The staff wasn’t rude but there weren’t particularly nice either. It was just an overall weird encounter.

A nice place to treat yourself. I appreciate that they were willing to use my water bottle for my matcha latte instead of needing to use a plastic cup. They are always friendly to me. The menu is expensive, but not more expensive than Starbucks and is better at least. Folks are always doing work on laptops at tables, and it’s cute it is dog friendly.
We went for after work Cocktail ended up with a wine tasting and leaving with four bottles. Fantastic place and they're frozen Rosé are the bomb

Waiting 25 minutes for a red eye in a coffee shop with no line is a wild business model.

I have routinely been disappointed by this coffee shop. It’s a shame because it’s the closest one to me, so I have been a few times, but every time I have gone the customer service is terrible, coffee is poor, and the food is subpar. The cashier never greets you or says thank you. You sit around for a while waiting for your food - I’m pretty sure they forgot about it once until I reminded them and then they didn’t even acknowledge it or apologize. My brother just ordered the caprese sandwich and didn’t realize they didn’t add pesto until he got home so it was just tomato and cheese. My mom’s breakfast sandwich was cold and the bread was stale. Overall really disappointing coffee shop.
