Starbucks? Does that mean a pentagram and a bull? Probably. It’s the devil you buying from, remember that. Ain’t nobody getting coffee from the devil when Jesus get here, I’ll tell you that. I hope the Lord forgive me for going here. Bless.

Due to some poor planning (by me), I wound having more than an hour to kill in Alexandria before a work meeting. I made my way to this Starbucks, and it turned out to be perfect: 1) It was quiet and conducive to getting some work done while waiting 2) The staff was extraordinarily friendly, greeting customers like old friends (which some of them might have been) and making a loiterer like myself feel welcome 3) There was no door code for the bathroom and no wifi password – so I didn’t feel like I was under suspicion. I felt sort of human. Which is a welcome feeling these days.

Only today11/8, was the service was horrible. I never seen this employee before; however, I walked in the Starbucks I wasn’t greeted at all, young lady looked tired, didn’t smile, no enthusiasm in her voice(very dry)and not welcoming at all. She made my drink and just put it on the counter and walked away. She was not friendly at all. Thanks for the gentleman that was working with her. He actually gave me the lemon loaf in my hand and said “ have a great day”. If I walk in and see her again, I’m walking back out and will go to another Starbucks. She needs customer service training, sleep and an attitude adjustment IMMEDIATELY.

The Barista that made my drink had an attitude and instead of calling my name for my drink she looked at me and put it on the counter with the mobile orders without saying a word. Drink was suppose to be extra hot . It wasn't

I’m usually reticent to leave a negative review for a franchise, but this is one of the less competently run Starbucks franchises I’ve seen in the area, and has been consistently that way as long as I’ve visited it. Employees take much longer than average to acknowledge customers and take orders. They have staff standing around with latte samples instead of behind the counter when there’s a rush, and it’s clear they could be responsive to customers elsewhere. Multiple staff at the register have failed to understand simple orders in native English with clear diction. I’ve seen other locations with equal staff be substantially more effective. Clear room for improvement.
