They've rearranged the seating. You can ask for your in-house drinks to be put in mugs & bakery items on plates.

Popped in for my usual dark roast - Cafe Verona. I was given my coffee by a tall young man with strawberry blonde hair. He was very pleasant.

I usually do not post reviews but felt compelled to post this one. We order from this location frequently. I ordered this morning and took my items down by the Potomac because I had a meeting. Came back a few hours later and asked to use the restroom. I was told that it was reserved for customers. This I understand. I let the barista know that I had ordered this morning and offered to show my app. I explained that I order from this location frequently. She went on to say that they had a new policy and that restrooms could only be used by customers at the time of visit. She did give me the code but stated that next time I wouldn't be able to use it. I understand the concept but not letting a customer that ordered that same day use the restroom is ridiculous Starbucks and not good customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I am not blaming the Barista because she is only doing her job. Starbucks is to blame here.

I just moved to the area but back home I am an avid Starbucks goer. I like a dirty chai with vanilla. I always order an iced blonde vanilla latte add chai. The first time I ordered it, the color looked wrong so I asked does this have espresso in it and I was assured that it did. He asked why, is it too sweet for you? I said it’s not that but the color is much lighter than it usually is. So you’re sure that there is espresso in the drink? He assures me so I left then it ended up just being milk with syrup, no chai. You think I wouldn’t go back after being gaslit but I figured I’ll just go back when someone else is working. I order the same thing I usually do once again a week later. Everyone was really nice. I got my drink. It looked darker than the first one so I left before taking a sip. I did not feel confident, but I was too embarrassed to go back with my tail between my legs. This time they did put the chai in it, which I think is why it was darker but again there was no espresso. I was very disappointed. I can’t say I will be returning anytime soon.
I ordered a mobile order that was not ready and missed an ingredient.

Very nice urban Bucks. Better than average seating, with some decent outdoor tables; albeit, on a busy street. Limited automobile parkung.

This is my neighborhood Starbucks and it is one of the best in the area. Coffee/food is always consistent and quick and the staff is so incredibly nice and welcoming and always go out of their way to say hi, even on quick mobile order pickups.

They stopped letting dogs inside (despite being in ALX and next to a mini dog park). We used to enjoy coffee trips for pup cups, not anymore I guess

Fast and efficient. This is a good Starbucks that even though they are busy most of the time will get your order in quickly.

After a 2hr ✈️ coming from Miami, a Starbucks is exactly what I needed. Staff was super nice ( I can say better service than back home).

It's a conveniently located Starbucks, and I've been coming here a long time. The Baristas are friendly and competent, and there are good seating options. But what makes an otherwise relaxing experience highly uncomfortable is that Starbucks management/owner (apparently) allows people to set up a stand directly in front of the door and harrass customers on their way in and out. This happens daily. They don't accept a polite "no thank you" and, when there are two of them, they make a concrete effort to physically block you from entering or exiting the store, until you sign their clipboard, make a donation, and accept a useless trinket. If I see the stand people and haven't already ordered, I immediately turn around and go somewhere elsewhere. I don't understand why any customer trying to grab a quick order would want to endure this gauntlet, especially with Swings, Meishas, Buzz, St. Elmos, etc. so close by.
