It's a conveniently located Starbucks, and I've been coming here a long time. The Baristas are friendly and competent, and there are good seating options.But what makes an otherwise relaxing experience highly uncomfortable is that Starbucks management/owner (apparently) allows people to set up a stand directly in front of the door and harrass customers on their way in and out. This happens daily.They don't accept a polite "no thank you" and, when there are two of them, they make a concrete effort to physically block you from entering or exiting the store, until you sign their clipboard, make a donation, and accept a useless trinket.If I see the stand people and haven't already ordered, I immediately turn around and go somewhere elsewhere. I don't understand why any customer trying to grab a quick order would want to endure this gauntlet, especially with Swings, Meishas, Buzz, St. Elmos, etc. so close by.

Staff was very attentive and greeted me as soon as I walked into store. Took my order with a smile and there was very little wait time until it was ready. Enjoyed this location very much.

I just bought a tall coffee with a shot of espresso and it is awful. The coffee is watered down and there is no shot of espresso. I do not have time to take this drink back but I spent $4.05 for it. Very disappointed.

This is by far the worst, and slowest Starbucks in the area. I live a block away and it is often faster to walk a mile away to another coffee shop than wait on the staff here to sloowwwllly make your drink. They will have a line out the door, huge groups of people waiting for mobile orders, and you'll see staff move as slow as molasses and gossiping with one another instead of working. If they say 10 min for your drink on the app, expect 20-25 min at the least. I've cancelled orders before after waiting over 30 minutes and staff constantly blame it on staffing issues, or who knows what. I'll see staff standing around, while drinks pile up by the bar, and no one brings them to the pickup spot. It's just horrible. Last Sunday I walked out after waiting 30 minutes for an iced coffee. If they can't keep up with orders, corporate needs to extend the wait time on the app, pause mobile orders until they can keep up, pay more so they can get better, more qualified staff, or SOMETHING. Because right now, this coffee shop is a mess.

I just left the Starbucks on Henry St in oldtown. I wasn’t ask my name when I ordered, after making the drink of the person after me I was asked what did I order, when my Frappuccino was made it was slide across the bar without even telling me it was mine. I left reevaluating my appearance. Then I thought, they should reevaluate their customer service. I asked the barista if I did something wrong when I came in because it seems as if they didn’t like me for some reason. Dang, can I get my tip back. Lol.I guess I’ll have to drive to Potomac Yards from now on.

They struggle with making cappuccinos but are pretty clean and quick. They only have one bathroom and keep the other one locked so there is always a line no matter what time of day.
