The biscuit with the cheese frittata was amazing, fluffy and delicious. Coffee was great as well.

So I got this French toast biscuit with fried chicken and eggs And it was so good I had to save the other half as my road snack. ??? nice flavor in every bite. Only complaint is no one brought syrup, but that’s not the biggest of deals because this thing is BUSSIN!! Highly recommend

The food here is awesome and big portion. Love the Winter blends coffee. The breakfast grit bowl is to die for, so flavorful. Both fried chicken biscuits are awesome. The biscuits and gravy is also yummy. We even ordered the extra gravy for it. We went on Saturday morning so walking at the farmers market next door is a plus! The ambiance is nice and welcome. The service is great. Definitely coming back soon.

Such a cute & cozy coffee shop. Best scones in town! We bought one scone to try and ended up buying 4 more to go. Still craving for more.

Very yummy breakfast spot. I found this place after a simple google search and decided to come try. I had the “breakfast nachos” and a Bloody Mary - both were very delicious. The set up is similar to “fast food”. You order your food at the counter then find your seat and someone brings it out to you.

Quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever ordered. I ordered from here with Uber Eats. I ordered breakfast nachos and grits. Anytime I’ve ever ordered nachos for delivery, the nachos come (essentially) deconstructed from any liquid toppings, but that wasn’t the case. I opened the nachos to find a container or pure mush from the tortilla chips sitting in the red sauce and busted egg on top - plus it was missing some ingredients that were listed on the menu. Then on to the grits, which had a pool of grease sitting on top and had little to no flavor. And this couldn’t have been any fault of the Uber Eats driver because I watched the delivery - they came straight to my house from the restaurant. However, I tried to call the restaurant and request a refund after spending $35 on inedible food and they don’t answer and have a full mailbox. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Complete disaster of an experience with this unprofessional business.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Relatively prompt service, ordered via the app and picked up at the window. We got a biscuit sandwich, coffees, and fried chicken. The biscuit sandwich was flavorless. The biscuit itself was undercooked, stodgy, and lacked any crumble. The egg was fine but lacked spice, the sausage served on the sandwich was oily and low quality, and the smashed avocado was runny and also lacked spice. The fried chicken used low quality chicken breast and was oily/soft. The oil being used to fry was clearly not hot enough. Would not return.

Trying this place for the first time while I'm waiting for my car to be serviced at VW and my mind was blown. These are literally the best chilaquiles I've ever had and I cook professionally as well. 11 out of 10 would order again. Egg was PERFECTLY cooked. Had a latte and that was great too

Great cafe with a good amount of seating and a cute outdoor area! I got the breakfast nachos, not so classic fried chicken biscuit, and vanilla bean latte! I truly enjoyed the latte. It's was so flavorful! So I would definitely recommend that! The breakfast nachos were good, but everything on them were cold which through me off a little bit because I just wasn't expecting it. The nachos had really great flavors. Delicious avo mash and the jalapeños provided a great kick! My husband got the chicken biscuit. He really liked it, but said he really loved the salad he got more!

Very best biscuits in the area, hand made every morning by the owner. I don't drink coffee, but it is popular. They have fresh squeezed orange juice which is worth every dime. Good vegetarian options, good muffins, just overall excellent.

Excellent coffee in a great location for meeting others but they can get real cranky if you need anything special

The Iced Latte was wonderful for a summer morning. Quaint coffee shop that also serves food and has outdoor seating. Didn’t seem to mind bringing donuts in from across the street.

I wish I could give a zero. The menu looks good but it has horrible food. Everyting is served on a giant biscuit that is awful and doughy. I ordered french toast and it was served as a biscuit with strawberry jelly and a scoop of ice cream. If the biscuits were good, it may be okay but they are just a big slob of dough. I will NEVER EVER eat here again. I should have went up the street and had some good food.

I used to really love Stomping Grounds. Sadly, I've lost that love'n feeling. The banana bread I had this morning was truly terrible. The bread was OILY and disgusting. I couldn't get past three or four bites, and I'm no quitter when it comes to food. I added a photo to show how the napkin I was using was made partially transparent from the oil that was seeping out of the ostensible banana bread, but was more like lightly banana flavored oil wad. The vanilla bean latte was good, but service was meh. I do realize that service everywhere post-COVID is pretty bad, so ‍. The other menu items are still pretty good, but somehow not as good as they were 2.5 years ago. Maybe COVID did take restaurant employees' give-a-$hit about cooking and quality to a level zero? Dunno. But, I think we'll start looking for a new Del Ray area breakfast option.
