27 JUN 2025 8.2 out of 10, the first over 7.5 I’ve given outside of NY. Absolutely amazing margarita pizza. My only complaint to get it higher into the 8’s is that the homemade cheese is a little too wet on top of the pizza. The crust is as crispy on the bottom as it is on the top. Absolutely incredible pizza. My wife gave it an 8.2!

With Stracci’s commitment to a limited menu that they make to perfection, I hope they are successful and maintain such a high-quality food. It’s rare to see a business truly commit to doing things the right way and not go for the money grab of doing more but having to compromise quality in the process. Cheers to them.

Absolutely delicious! Best that we've found outside of Italy. Naples meets Rome. Totally worth the wait.

Loved this place even sitting outside! We had a blast and I would definitely come here again. We ordered two pizzas for 3 people and it was a perfect amount.

I have heard so many amazing things about this place from people who have been to Italy. It did not disappoint!

The ingredients are super fresh and the flavor combinations are unlike anything I’ve tried in other places. (Pictured is the Peach-za, a special with fresh peaches, stracciatella and specka).

It’s definitely a bit on the pricier side (so not the kind of pizza I’d get every week), but definitely worth it for special occasions!

Good take on the Roman pizza. Not quite exactly like Al taglio but the flavors were there. We had the stracci and the brooklyner. The stracci had the standard mozzarella while the brooklyner had the calabrian chili with honey drizzled. Too much in my opinion but it was an interesting take. They only take reservations for five or more and they can't seat a table if the party is not complete. The toast app makes it easy to place orders. It was unusually hot during our visit because of the extreme heat outside. As we sat closer to the entrance, we felt that heat quite a bit. It was also full of diners. Which is a good sign too.

Native New Yorker here so I don't play around when it comes to pizza and this is hands down the best pizza I've had in the DMV!

The Brooklyner and the seasonal peach za are DIVINE! Shoutout to Chad who was so sweet over the phone when helping me decide between so many good choices on the menu. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the location - limited parking...but I think business is good that they will need to expand!

People are lining up before 5pm, even at the scorching hot day like today. We knew that’s a good sign. The pizza is exceptional, the appetizers are refreshing, what a satisfying meal at this off the path location!

Food was very good. I think that due to them starting life as a food truck, they still believe that they are running a volume based business. Our table felt that the staff kept on trying to get us in and out of the restaurant ASAP.

Stracci Pizza doesn’t just make pizza….it transports you. The moment I took that first bite, I was back in Italy. The crust is the perfect balance of crunch and chew, the homemade cheese melts like a dream, and the tomatoes… I swear they smuggled them straight from a Roman market.

It’s rare to find food that feels like a memory, but Stracci pulls it off. Every slice feels like a love letter to Italy. If you’ve ever wandered the streets of Rome with a slice in hand, this place will take you right back there.

Grazie, Stracci! This is the real deal.

Being Italian, I'm very picky about my pizza. I have to say Stracci Pizza is our absolute favorite. Whether eating there or a carry out, it is simply the best.

What you’re getting from Stracci, from my perspective as a culinary professional, is an amazing focaccia style pizza with fresh ingredients that’s absolutely marvelous. The caponata appetizer is delish, as are the gigante’ beans as well as the liver pate. Love this place. It’s always exciting when my diet allows for me to indulge as a treat, I can eat for days off of a single pizza and an appetizer. My favorite is the Brooklyner.

Tonight was my first time at Stracci and while I had heard amazing things, if I ever do order from them again it will be for take-out only. Everything was fine until our food arrived and the waitstaff started hovering around our table. Every 3 minutes or so one of the 3-4 waitstaff who served us would come by, glance at our table, walk back to the other waitstaff, and talk to them while looking and gesturing at us. We felt very rushed to eat and leave (presumably so they could fill the table with other customers). The food was good, but the atmosphere completely overshadowed the whole experience.

P.S. the only way to order is through a QR code not through the omnipresent waitstaff (which they will make very clear if you try to order something from them like a regular restaurant).
